I am sure the food prepared at home by Mainers is much safer than food products imported from away.

Maybe they think we should give out Chinese imported foood instead!

I like the earlier suggestion of having Hostess, Nabixco, or General Mills start donating snacks to our troops.
Love to see the Airport Authority say that violates Federal ‘guidelines’.
Hmmm...do guidelines have the force of law?

I’d like to know where an airport gets the authority to regulate or prohibit the transfer of food between private parties in a public place.

I like the earlier suggestion of having Hostess, Nabisco, or General Mills start donating snacks to our troops. Agreed! I'm sure the Maine Greeters are not gonna let this stop them...they will find a way to continue to offer comfort & support to our soldiers.

I wonder — it seems like there are some stiffnecked people who would answer that to the affirmative, but is it really so?

Does a conscessioner have to be paid or not?
Do they meet the definition?

After a lot of thought I support banning home made food for our troops. I have seen brand new greeters bringing in treats for our troops. This does pose a real risk. Anyone could bring in food for our troops to eat. Think about that.
