Found this..and also a suggestion to mix flower petals minced with butter..There are many edible flowers.
Nasturtium
Nasturtiums are an attractive and nutritious addition to salads, and they make a beautiful garnish. Nasturtiums have 10 times the vitamin C of lettuce, so add a gererous portion of leaves and flowers to your salad mixes. Grind the seeds in a pepper mill, and use as you would black pepper.

Have you finished with all your painting yet? :) I have finished with the half bath and utility room, next I will be tackling the guest room. But, I'm really not sure what color I want to paint it. I am taking my time picking out the colors. I am not 100% happy with the color of the utility room. I let my mom talk me into a cool pale yellow that looks okay with the lights on, but I don't like it at all with the lights off. I would have preferred a warmer, softer yellow. But, it's just the utility room, so it really doesn't matter. It does look fresh and clean and cheerful, and I love that freshly painted look.
How are you coming with your dining room?
