I'd love to see a Thompson/Paul ticket.... LThompson was a pretty big cheerleader for the McCain Campaign Finance Reform abomination, and only voted in-line with Gun Owners of America on 19 out of 33 key votes they rated (i.e., about 57% of the time), but he's still the most tolerable of the "Big 4", to me.
Still, I'd much prefer a Paul/Thompson ticket. ;-)

You are missing the point, if the person is not a resident of the state they can’t buy the firearm. It has nothing to do with access to databases.

Just curious; is this about the "Ron Paul" thing?I have known Ron Paul for MANY years. Lived three doors down from him in Lake Jackson, Texas for a time and my youngest son was delivered into the world by him. I once thought him to be a perfect candidate for President but, unfortunately, that is no longer the case and I do not have time to deal with these treads.

I agree that Tancredo and Hunter are “pretty good” in relative terms, though neither comes close to Paul. The big problem with Hunter, of course, was his support of the Medicare prescription bill which many other pubbies opposed. What gives with that?

Continue your reasoning a little. møøslimbs blame 9/11 on the Jooooooooos.
Jews make up a similar proportion of the US population, and yet a single very small [nomially] Jewish country lost 23 TIMES as many of its citizens as ALL 167 møøslimb contries COMBINED.
It's mathematically odd,
You have a gift for understatment.
if your numbers are correct.
They are. Google search 9/11 deaths by country, add the numbers, and cross compare to the CIA list of møøselimb countries, and that is what falls out.
BTW, don't bother googling 9/11 deaths by religion. That data was never reported, anywhere, by anyone.
I wonder why?
I smell a Jooooooooooooish conspiracy...

If you you guys are searching for the “perfect candidate” in each election, you’re remaining years on earth will be filled with disappointment. No such “perfect candidate” exists though Paul is far better than the rest in relative terms.
To: Austin Willard Wright
I’d love a perfect candidate!
I’ll settle for one without lethal flaws.

Well....then, if Paul doesn’t fit the bill, you’ll never be satisfied with a field dominanted by opportunists, like Mitt and Rudy, and folksy McCain fans like Thompson.

I am as repulsed by this year’s crop as I have ever been in 36 years of voting.

Hi Ron. Good job on this issue. Why are you such a dangerous idiot on the WOT?
He defends the Constitution when no other politician does.
He's an idiot for doing that?
Keep in mind that those who have botched the WOT are the same ones who want to take your guns...and you support them!

I have said many times on this very forum that the ONLY perfect candidate (yourself) isn't running so we agree on that point.

FYI, it is NOT illegal to purchase a gun out of state in all states. It shouldn't be in ANY state.
Either I'm a U.S. citizen or not.
