Just mothers? What about wetnurses?

Although the admittedly sparse article doesn't go into such detail, I'm guessing that the law applies to everyone.

Personally? I don’t want to see anyone publicly breastfeeding!! Keep it private. I don’t care how you ‘tent’ the infant, it doesn’t belong in public. I was SO mortified when I took my 16 year old son out for a meal at the local Jack in the Box only to find that we had to spend our waiting time in line near face to face with a mother with attached infant schlupping noisily away at her half-covered breast. It was disgusting. I WISH it were unlawful everywhere. Keep it at home, or take it to the ladies room, if you must take your infant out with you. My opinion is, a baby doesn’t belong in public if it’s dependant on mom’s breast to feed and you haven’t yet learned to use a breast pump and bottle.

I resent it. I don’t want to see it. I don’t want to share your thrilling ‘mommy’ life experience.

Rant over ... pet peeve and all, y’know?
