45 days in a jail for driving without a license when they are releasing more serious criminals She complied with none of her probation and was caught driving on suspension twice. She was also in a section just for celebs and it was NOT overcrowded.

Forget powerless to curb. From what I've seen they enable, aid and abet. With family like that, who needs enemies.Personally, I think they're in denial. They keep running around, cleaning up her messes. They are most definitely not doing her any favors, but perhaps don't know how to handle the mess in a better way.

That’s right. They were planning a party for last night as it was, when she got dragged back to jail.
They had already tried the ‘at home’ approach, when they gave her the probation.

I believe it’s the latter of the two.

I believe even cavemen have higher standards. At least they like to chase their pray.

Bottom line...drunk driving is a crime, thumbing your nose at the courts is dangerous, paying your debts is an obligation to society, and all the fame and paparazzi in the world will not save Paris from a jail sentence.
Overblown? General Pace got canned and the Space Shuttle lifted off during this MSM feeding frenzy, and nobody noticed...how do we fix that? How do we make the MSM responsible reporters of the world’s events? I do not know the answer.

The traditional way to curb heirs and heiresses is conditions on their potential inheritance. You could have a rule like every time you show your p****y in public you lose $10,000,00.It's a little late for that. Can you imagine writing up a trust fund using that language? For an infant? After all, inheritances/trust funds are usually drawn up when the child is born.
The only way to control her access to money, is to have her declared "non compos mentos". Or how ever it's spelled....

I was wondering about the jails policy on reading/writing materials. I could do her time with paper, pen, and books. Heck, if they let me, Id sit and crochet. If I had 23 days to catch up on my reading, writing and needlework, didn't have to go to work, and no phone ringing off the hook - I'd call that a vacation!

This is not an area of expertise for me...
But I was a department head at a $50,000 a year private high school and the kids did talk about such things. Apparently the kids often felt burdened by the administrator of their trust funds who judged the “reasonableness” of their spending prior to the age when they gained full control - and age that was as late as 35 years in some cases. The interpretation of reasonable got much more strict when they acted up in some way.
Of course that did require planning on the part of the parents and an administrator with backbone. In many cases the parents were using the administrator’s backbone as a substitute for their own.

The mother is a wacko too.
She’s getting justice here. Not because she’s a spoiled rotten little you know what . She’s getting justice because there are laws about driving drunk , not going to the driving classes and then getting caught TWICE on the revoked list . If it was any of us I assure you we’d be behind bars for a few weeks too and you’d have your license pulled for a few years to boot and a fine that would be about 3 months pay for the average guy .
