Notice how carefully he declines to actually disavow said unpopular opinion. He deserves an attaboy for his well-crafted apology.

Yep, he went off the reservation and the global warming zealots went after him with their typical Orwelllian tactics. These people need to be stopped.

In what other scientific field does one have to apologize for holding a particular viewpoint?

“The Thought Police have struck again.” ...and LOST!
He basically said, “I’m sorry my opinion bothers you, or has caused you trouble”.

There is a streak of fascism in the science community that gives one pause.

It’s really bad to diss someone’s religion. And global warming of Mother Earth has become a religion.

Man, all within a minute. I guess it’s so terribly obvious what is really going on here. It isn’t about global warming at all, it’s just the War on Communism (WoC) being fought on a different front. Every time you think you have those roaches stopmed they come at you from a different direction.

Oh, I know he worded his apology with artfulness but it is still disgusting to see a person in moderate authority in a science agency having to cow-tow to leftist mythology.

I agree. My daughter has a degree in HydroGeology from the Department of GeoSciences - University of Texas Austin...
She said that at the UT GeoScience Department
Global Warming is a big joke not worth discussing!

I agree, but Griffin’s a pretty pragmatic fella, and this is far as he’ll go. He did jab them in the collective eye a bit...
