I felt like we should have offered military assistance against Hezbollah as we certainly would have done if someone were raining missiles down on France or Germany.
But if Israel is invaded by Arab nations (or Iran) and Israel doesn’t finish it faster than congress can act, I would hope and expect we would enter the war quickly on Israel’s side.

We need to deal with ‘em as we dealt with Indians. That includes an awful lot “ethnic cleansing” or even genocide. That is the only way we’re going to be able to stop fighting and refighting these wars.

More than a fifth of the world’s population is Islamic -more than Hindus and Buddhists put together.
Looking long term - Islam needs to reform and grow up as Christianity has. Having “enemies” is no excuse as Jews and Christians have had no shortage of enemies as we have become more tolerant of other religions.

Maybe we should give *defeating* our enemies a chance — the “T-Ball Rules”, no winners/no losers strategic stance imposed on us by Condi and the State Dept has not served us well.
I hope to god Isreal has plenty of nukes at their disposal. Frankly if I was president if a coalition of arab nations tried to destroy Israel I wouldn’t hesitate to turn every muslim holy site beaded glass.
As it is now I doubt our leadesr do the same, it looks like Israel will have to start leveling them on its own until we come to our senses and start helping.

The nuclear solution in the Middle East will be brought to the table by the Arab states. Israel will have to choose between their own last bow and beheading or the nuclear solution for the their enemies. They will get to choose. I suspect they will not go quietly into the night whether or not they are enrolled in Free Republic.
Israel’s not going to fall again whether their enemies have the weapons or not.God’s Word in the Bible says they won’t !!!

If I understand you correctly, you want to exterminate one and half billion people. Do you think we should kill the children too? Or do you let them grow up knowing you killed all their elders.
And where do you suppose we could get the troops to go house house through 30 countries slaughtering all inhabitants after you make sure they are Islamic? Or do you want to nuke everybody in those countries and kill the non-Muslims too?
Aside from the utter lack of morality and total opposition to Christian and American principles that would entail, genocide on that scale is also not practical.
