Scarborough Attacks Fred's Wife (Joe insults Fred's wife)

Joe Scarborough offers his keen insight and classy analysis into today's political scene in an interview this morning with Congressional Quarterly's Craig Crawford. During the Morning Joe program on MS-NBC, Scarborough suggested that Fred Thompson's wife is a whore (via the Palmetto Scoop):

SCARBOROUGH: Have you seen Fred Thompson’s wife? CRAWFORD: Oh, yeah.

SCARBOROUGH: You think she thinks she works the pole?

CRAWFORD: That’s what a Hollywood career will do for you, I guess.

SCARBOROUGH: What do you mean?

CRAWFORD: You get wives like that.

SCARBOROUGH: I mean, look at that guy. God bless him, I love his voice. But I mean, you know. He ain’t Robert Redford in “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.”

CRAWFORD: Well I would like to see him back into politics because I think he’s a lousy actor.

I used to like Joe but he took the Arianna Huffington route and got caught up in his own on camera time. I quit watching him over a year ago. I believe his ratings are lower than Chris Matthews and he is on the bottom.

My dear, old mother along with the rest of her crew, once she sees Fred & wife, will guffaw, snicker and say, “Well, he’s no different than the rest of these old buzzards around here” and that will be that for Fred among the older retirees. They are truly disgusted by older men dating, much less marrying much younger women.

Agreed. She's a beautiful woman, whose husband clearly loves her. They're married, with two children. Let's be happy for them, for Pete's sake.

Not just old retirees..I'm 43 with 3 daughters.

I was starting to like Fred, the fact that he appears to be an old pervert is a turn off. 24 years is a bit much imo.
That alone wouldn't cost him my vote, but I expected him to have a wife remotely approaching his own age range.

The man in me says “good job Fred”..the Dad in me says...dude..wtf?!
Not out of jealousy either.
Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

But I'm back to shopping for the non existent perfect candidate.

Hey, wanna know who looks like a total slut? Find the pictures of Judith Giuliani. It's people like you who find fault in a candidate's beautiful young wife. What the heck has that got to do with the campaign, really? Lighten up, let them at least start campaigning before you offer your criticism of how his wife dresses.

Well, not if she gets out there and is *adorable.* That's really what I'd like to see happen, and really what I'm pushing for--get out there, dear, and sell your Personality. Be sweet. Be kind. Be interesting. Don't rely on cleavage, which will only get FR men to want to hit on you. Not all voters are men. Win over the older ladies.
