We'll never know if Afghanistan might have rejected al Qaeda if America had actively engaged that country as we did those Eastern Europeans. We can't know if Venezuelans would have chosen liberty over the false security of authoritarianism if they had been challenged to face the issues. I do know, though, that it's time for a new generation of Americans to stand up for freedom — like others before us.

Fred nails it here!

C’mon, Fred. Get yo’self into the race! And keep talking. America needs to hear broadcast liberty every bit as much as Venezuela, East Europe and the rest of the planet.

Wow!

You know I'm a FRedhead. But, honestly-even in my most objective, critical mind, I have to say...this was powerful and sends a HUGE message and signals what we can expect from FRed.

...and they say he hasn't got the "fire in the belly? Puh-leese!

Prolly one of his best-to date. I give it 5 Stars!

:O)

This guy may be too smart to be President.

A guy like this in the WH could really make a difference.

I did a search just on the word “opportunity” and didn’t see it.

Don’t worry...he’s in within a month. “Testing the Waters” and “Exploratory” are just prerequisites.

I am a Duncan Hunter supporter. However, he just is not getting — and will never be allowed to get — the name recognition and face time necessary for the exposure he needs to be a viable candidate. That’s a “cryin’ shame,” but that’s the reality. Thus, I’ll be supporting Fred once Duncan drops out, as he — I’m afraid — will find it necessary to do.

I don’t understand this call for Watts, nice guy, but, come on, he didn’t strike me as the sharpest knife in the drawer, certainly not Presidential timber.

This is one of the advantages of having a mature, seasoned candidate. Fred has witnessed much history, and is the better for it.

I really like this man, and hope he continues down the path to throw his hat in the ring.

Watts is inarticulate for a good reason, he’s not very bright and knows only what the RNC tells him.

It's the same thing FReepers said about Condi. Remember the "Condi for President" threads last year? Never mind that she was pro-abortion and believed in Bush's neo-con/globalist vision of America. I guess some FReepers believe in affirmative action after all.
