Someone on another thread said Ron Paul was a former communist when he was in college. That really concerns me.

As I recall, he had over $600,000 before the first debate. And I think he's leading the second-tier in fundraising. His numbers in NH aren't too bad either.
The article says he "doubled his fundraising". So did he double his daily averages for fundraising or did he nearly double his entire fund? I think the former.
It'll be interesting to see the upcoming fundraising reports. I'm hoping McStain and Rudi are broke.

Paul has repeatedly stated afterward that he is was not blaming America.
Maxtor Atlas 15K II versus Seagate Cheetah 15K.4
There have been rumours about the release of 22K rpm hard drives for several years already and some labs even possess prototypes, 15000 rpm hard drives are still fairly considered top models in this industry. That's why they are in demand equipping such drives with the highest performance mechanics and interfaces, developing perfect firmware, and making the most reliable hard drives, manufacturers are right to consider that these drives will be their business cards. That is customers will be able to judge about the technological level and potential performance of other hard drives from a given manufacturer. That's why the competition in the 15K rpm sector is in focus. As manufacturers have recently updated the lines of 15K rpm models, we decided to have a look at the new models not just as another generation of hard drives, but as the perfect representatives of each manufacturer. In this article we'll set two most famous 15K rpm representatives at loggerheads Maxtor Atlas 15K and Seagate Cheetah 15K. This time it will be the second and the fourth generation correspondingly.

He said that AFTER THE FACT!
Realizing the sh**storm he found himself in, I (and most everyone else) would have done the same thing.

While I think Paul is dangerous on foreign policy, I very seriously doubt he was ever a “communist”. I could easily agree with much of his domestic policy - but he’s death when it comes to foreign policy.

What he said supported the fact, too.

The problem was that Giuliani admitted his ignorance, and he interrupted Paul to do it.

OK fine.
We’ll leave it at that.
But as you head home tonight, don’t forget to put on your tin-foil hat and make sure that there aren’t any black helicopters hovering in the near distance.

I do not have any tin-foil hats.

He is a classical liberal, if he is anti-Jewish/Hebrew, I will have to reject him. He has opposed aid to Israel in the past, which is entirely consistent with his Constitutionally-derived desire to avoid foreign entanglements. Those who read anti-semitism into how Rep. Paul has voted are clearly wanting to smear the man, and do not understand the concept of original intent, not the foggiest idea. I'm in favor of aid to Israel, personally. I do, however, completely understand where Ron Paul is coming from on this, and it's not due to any form of animus toward Jews and/or Israelis.

While I think Paul is dangerous on foreign policy, I very seriously doubt he was ever a communist. Somebody's just confusing their former Libertarian presidential candidates, imho. Harry Browne was once a communist. So was Ronald Reagan, for that matter, so I don't see how this is pertinent, given Ron Paul's long and utterly consistent record of voting as a strict constructionist. I have never heard that Ron Paul was ever a communist, myself.

Here's a gutsy RP supporter. Looks like might be leaning toward being a Truther. Still, he's got that leftwing mayor right between his sights with that signage.
