Dr. Lushine did a study on precipitation in May related to hurricane activity. In S FL it’s been a pretty wet May. So that’s good.
The May before Andrew was the second driest on record. So I’m not too worried. But I do respect Dr. Gray.

Clearly, last year was an OFF year, and they are in position to learn and improve from it.A minor el Nino developed at a very unusual time of year. That and a lot of Saharan dust threw off their forecast.
