"If convicted as charged, Soloway will face a maximum sentence of more than 65 years in prison and a fine of 250,000 dollars" ...And I hope you get and do every day of the sentence, you bastid...patooie! And twice as much to the users of spyware.

God, just imagine he were sentenced to execution. They’re strapping him to the gurney, getting the nice cocktail ready, and the red phone rings. The guard picks it up, listens for a moment, then hands it to the condemned man. Think it’s the governor with a pardon, he seized it gratefully and holds it to his ear...and the caller says “Would you like your penis enlarged? Our new wonder pill will enlarge you in just 6 short days....”

This isn't much of a fine. Anyone know what this guy has in assets?
And yes, he should die.

Don’t think that ending his mailings will end all fo the mailings. The lists have been sold and been sold and been sold...

I wonder if I could have a civil suit against the "Spam King"?
The gazzilion times I had to delete the e mails has resulted in carpal tunnel syndrome, and a stiff neck! :0)

Scr3w the rope.
Get a claw hammer and a blowtorch.
This creep deserves as much as he inflicted on others.

Does this mean that ‘Spamford’ (Sanford) Wallace (previous Spam King) is fully retired now?

Which reminds me. I have to go get rid of the spam on my email again.

Soloway used misleading "header" information to dupe people into opening them Gee, how clever!
My spam box gets about 50-100 a day and I can't believe anyone would be dumb enough to open 99+% of them.

I lost the use of my e-mail address because of these creeps. None of my mail was being delivered. Turns out that one of these spammers had used my address as a false return, so my legitimate mail was blacklisted. I’ve had to go to the time and expense of changing to a new one, notifying all my clients and changing all my stationary.

Does this mean that Spamford (Sanford) Wallace (previous Spam King) is fully retired now? Last I heard he was in trouble for one of those bogus "Spyware removal Tools". He is the scum who invented FAX spams, and moved to email when laws were finally (feebly) written.
Obligatory Warm Spam Thought:
Last year a notorious Russian Spammer was found bludgeoned to death in his office. Police had made no progress in the investigation.
Birds are singing, flowers are blooming, Life Is Sweet.
As to this present one, I just had one of his spams stopped yesterday. This is a case for Vlad the Impaler's gentle ministrations: As Soloway slides down the stake, shrieking in agony, he sees his family butchered in front of him.

I suspect he will be forced to forfeit money made in his ventures. The fine and jail time is not the only penalty he will face...

Right, this is not merely an annoyance, but a real danger to individuals and businesses.
