I read a good bit of the legislative proposal. It’s pretty obvious “W” hasn’t read any of it at all.

One has to ask, would that really stop him? he seems to have an unusual affection for the Mexican people.
I doubt further knowledge of the bill would affect his willingness to pander.

Well, I do agree it’s not an amnesty Bush is offering. It’s more like a ‘Bonus Rewards, Let’s Motivate the Next Wave’ program. The bill is a careless, disastrous fraud.
And the demonization of thoughtful critics is incredibly foolish.

Are you suggesting he's got something going on with his sister-in-law?
I'm shocked!

The Bush immigration stance is as brilliant as his signing the unconstitutional CFR bill. A bill which he knew was unconstitutional but he signed it ANYWAY.
Take away some of our rights, don't protect our nation from illegal aliens. George Bush. Pure genius...

I said nothing of the sort.
I never implied, suggested or hinted at anything that could even remotely be construed as an allegation of impropriety of the part of The President.
I leave any and all such thoughts to the mind of the informed reader...

as well as the general liquidation of America, started by daddy’s comitting this country to “fast track” on NAFTA even after he lost the election in 1992.
call it trilateralist
call it globalism
call it the NWO....announced by his smirking-faced daddy, too.
It’ll all get clearer and clearer as bush jr’s term comes closer and closer to its end.

He does. I honestly believe he has seen the movie "Giant" one too many times.
Maybe he watches it every night before he goes to sleep..

As I recall, when we said that Miers was a bad SCOTUS nomination because she was unqualified and because she had given speeches promoting affirmative action and abortion, Laura Bush appeared with a liberal TV host and accused anyone who objected to Miers of being a bigot and a woman hater.
No, she was just a really lousy appointee.
And this is a really, really lousy bill. Kill the damned thing before it destroys our country!

I don't want to start anything here, really, but my husband is of the opinion that his signing of McCain/Feingold, when he said publicly that he believed it to be unconstitutional, is an impeachable offense.
To: LibertarianLiz
One always figured the President would act in the best interest of it’s citizens and not in the interests of foreigners who had absolutely no regard for the law.

I prefer to call it treason and leave it at that. (gasp! Yes, I did say it!)
