I’m so glad I had Lasik and don’t have to put those disgusting little pieces of plastic into my eyes anymore.

I use this product--should say used-- and just heard about this warning, but no problems for me so far. I was having a discussion earlier tonight with someone about not being able trust any food products anymore and the virtues of growing your own, etc... and now this news.

Holy cow, that’s the solution I use! Thanks for the info!

China Syndrome??
LOL My immediate thought too. I see the company is based in California but that doesn't mean much.

Sorry to hear that. You can buy a Visene equivalent in most stores. The food issue, well... thats another thread.

The poison dog food was all made in USA too. With Chinese ingredients. I don’t see any indication where the ingredients came from for this contact lens solution. And I don’t expect I ever will.

I think permanent blindness is even worse than temporary eye pain. With this, you get both.

—CDC officials said people should discard the solution, throw out their current contact lenses and toss the lens storage case. All of them may harbor the infecting amoeba—
Thank God it’s easy to remember - amoeba, AMO...

This reminds me of the Bausch & Lomb fiasco. Where’s the quality assurance?
To: Dysart
Do they plan on replacing my lenses? I have Torics, and they aren’t cheap.
