"Amnesty is a pardon and means all is forgiven. This legislation is not amnesty. President Bush made clear today he does not view it as amnesty and I agree with him.

I’m afraid that anyone who opposes the current “I-Can’t-Believe-It’s Not-Amnesty!” plan is going to be tarred with a broad brush by many of our elected representatives, whose primary interest is not national security or sovereignty or fiscal responsibility (snicker!) but re-election.

Talk about irony: Graham is talking to a group called “The Race”, an organization that believes Mexicans are more warm, more loving, more human than their cold northern neighbors. He tells this gang of overt racists that those who oppose amnesty for foreign lawbreakers are “bigots.” What a gold plated jerk!
