This debate should be more fun than the Strip Clubs themselves. And that is saying something. There's nothing like a Texas strip club!

its all part of the W.O.S. (war on strippers)

So what percentage of the strippers are illegal immigrants?

“Houston Police Department strip club crackdown planned”
I didn’t know the Houston Police Department had a strip club.

GOOD GOD!!!
What a waste of LEA money and resources!
Once more HYPOCRISY of the Moral Maroons!
Strip clubs are victimless “crimes” unless you consider those who waste a lot of money there ‘victims”...but that is a personal decision in a free country.
legalize strip clubs and prostitution in specific areas and we will save money on police, cut down on underground crime and put the money to better use or cut taxes!
Now, if you don’t want to do the above. Then have a raid, and arrest every customer and put them on TV. then it wouldn’t be hypocritical at least.

good. This is an excellent way to administrate strip clubs out of existence, or at least crowd them all into one district, as Giuliani did in NYC.
To: Spok
I didn’t know that Houston had ANY zoning ordinances.
To: Eric Blair 2084
Maybe they should just install some strip-club cameras, like the red-light cameras, to keep an eye on things at the clubs and issue citations?

At least the girls in the strip clubs earn a living the capitalist way instead of suckling on the government breast.
I would prefer that the Houston Police Department spend the resources and time investigating welfare rip-offs.

Watch in amazement as posters here, a conservative website, defend those who sell sex and vice. Speak up please and defend morality! If we can shame people into not smoking, we ought to be able to return the opprobrium once associated with vice and push it back into the cesspools and away from decent people.

Houston has cleaned up all of the Katrina crime and is moving on to the more pressing matter of unlawful gyrations in a sexually provocative manner. /s
