If they try to return to the U.S., they'll have to go illegally through the dangerous desert.

Nobody is forcing you to travel to the United States.

If you want to come, we will welcome you IF you follow the law. Crossing the border via the desert is not only illegal but highly dangerous to your health and safety, and first impressions are very hard to overcome.

It's a shame that Mexico is such a messed up place. If it were more prosperous, it would solve a lot of problems for a lot of people, and it would help make America more prosperous also.

The more I learn about the rest of the world, the more I'm thankful to live in the U.S.

Well, we have something in common, I too feel betrayed by the US government.....a government that will not protect its own borders, its heritage or its future.

Remember the hullabaloo when ten thousand or so Southeast Asians entered our country (legally) as part of the Vietnamese diaspora? Remember the outright hostility (even Klan and Nazi activity) when some of those folks tried to move into the Gulf Coast shrimping industry, and how little MSM support those immigrants got? And what's the difference? It's simple really, those Southeast Asian (legal) immigrants were seen by the Democrats and other Leftists as people whose political support (at least in the short term) would be more likely to go to the Republicans who (in effect) opened the gates for them than to the Democrats.

Now the worm has turned. In 1975, a trickle of legal immigration: bad; in 2007 a tidal wave of illegal immigration: good.
