Kennedy celebrated by meeting with several families affected by the March raid on illegal immigrants in New Bedford . "They're still reeling from that," Kennedy said. "When I told them the bill would make them safe and secure, you should have seen the look in their eyes. They knew they didn't have to be scared."

Imagine an America in which Kennedy had been trapped in that car instead of Mary Jo.....

Just passing on his bosses thought. Bush seems to really dig working with the Swimmer and together those two have sold out the country.

Kennedy...the Democrats' aging lion
Dissappated Punchinello is more apt.

Imagine if Kennedy had to get a real job and had to really work hard to support a family.

Well, Ted has had plenty of practice, authoring the disasterous 1965 and 1986 immigration bills that have parlayed a few hundred thousand illegal aliens into the 12-20 million we have today. Only in this brain dead administration would this be considered a success. Chertoff is apparently enthralled with Kennedy because at least that old socialist has stuck to his political agenda, something one can’t say of anyone in the Bush administration.

Well, you’re are most certainly correct Sen. Kennedy. Illegals do not have to fear anything now. Only honest, law-abiding citizens have to fear now. What a terrible example this man sets for those who actually want to live by the principle “Rule of Law”. Anyone wanna bet that the federal government will be just as pathetic at enforcing the new illegal immigration laws as they were before this bill was passed?

My guess is that when Susan Milligan isn’t busy attempting to make an old drunk windbag look like a knight in shining armour she spends a lot of time attempting to polish turds.

"Kennedy celebrated by meeting with several families affected by the March raid on illegal immigrants in New Bedford" I wonder why he didn't have the same sympathy for the family of Elian Gonzalez.

“It’s obvious we’re from different parties” said Gutierrez.
IT IS?????
“We don’t always have to agree”
——Then why do you? What a bunch of LOSERS!!!!! “He’s awesome” , etc etc. {pardon me while I puke)
NOT A DAY GOES BY WHEN I DO NOT HAVE IT CONFIRMED THAT THERE IS NOTHING BUT A MERELY RHETORICAL DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO
“PARTIES” ——I guess these were “parties” to which we were not invited.

Commerce Secretary Carlos M. Gutierrez called it "a real privilege" to work with Kennedy,...Yeah, just don't drive with him.
