‘English Postage Stamps - Is England printing its own postage stamps now?
Somebody should tell the British Post Office. they will be very upset’
They won’t be upset because England is printing its own postage stamps now. The stamps without any additional symbols are the English ones. Ones printed for Wales and Scotland have national symbols on them also.

I wonder what people think about that Harry not going over to Iraq? I looked for some threads on the topic and apparently, people have no opinion, because I didn’t find anything on the topic. I thought there would be some sort of out cry. I understand on one level why they aren’t sending Harry, but on the other level, it makes me think about about what a wimp their father is. It isn’t very becoming of their kingdom.

Probably some loony professor over at Oxtered.

Britain is more than England, as it includes Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Until recent times, English was not spoken in most of Wales or in the Scottish Highlands. Further, there are some who would argue that the Germanic tongue of the Scottish Lowlands, called Scots or Lallans, should be considered a separate language from English, as Norwegian is from Swedish, or Catalan from Spanish. Because Britain is more than England, there is no tautology in referring to British English, and analogous to North American English, a valid term for the English spoken in the United States and Canada.

HARRY IS IN IRAQ. They are not saying it but the ban on clubbing is to account for his absence from clubs. The low profile is to give cover. I swear. He is in Iraq and those wily Brits are doing it on the down low. That was my thought exactly.

It is still tautolgical and unecessary. No, it is completely proper to use the term "British English". Linguists even have an abbreviation for it (BrE).
A google search for "British English" yields over one million results.

Cursing out Jim Robinson or telling him that not voting for Giuliani is a vote for Hillary, or telling him that if he doesn’t vote for Giuliani all the blood of the abortions under Hillary will be on his hands are just not wise remarks.

Why did I think it was baby seals in Canada?

"...while his Army unit are away"????? Good grief, whatever happened to the Queen's English? That's pretty standard British usage. A noun that refers to more than one person takes the plural form of the verb. I don't care for it, but that's what they do.

I never figured out why they announced it in the first place. Me either. But I have a feeling Harry understands the danger and undue attention clubbing will bring to him and his group and will comply. He's really quite a stand up guy.

I don't care for it, but that's what they do. Yeah, I don't care for it, either.
The next time the Queen calls, I'll be sure to bring it up to her.
