"He goes in front of a Baptist University and makes a statement like that."

Of all of the days, speeches and/or locations to make his final stand on abortion known, I simply can't believe that he chose Houston Baptist. What unmitigated gall. I've been shaking my head about this all day.

No big deal, he has one of the biggest open borders city under his watch.
Was only a matter of time before all the truth would come out.
Bye bye Rudy, say hi to Hillary for us.

Except I’d still have to get over my distate of having a POTUS named MITT. How bout a Biff? Or a MUG? Or a Seven?

Hey, you go for a Harvard MBA/JD from the white-shoe Boston consulting firm of Bain & Company, and you take your Biffs, your Cliffs, your Austins, and your Graham's with him.

I think Seven is still too young to become POTUS. Give him another 20 years.

“It’s a matter of morals.”

For those who actually have them, it is. For an amoral fence sitter, it's a positioning statement to create cover for politically inconvenient past public utterances.

"This is a matter of deep and profound judgment,"

Oh yes, it is. And Mr. Giuliani, your judgment is deeply and profoundly flawed.

This doesn’t work unless he also attacks Roe v. Wade and speaks out against the abortion ideology, and for greater restrictions on abortion. Looks like he won’t.

Thanks for the ping.

Has anyone been over to WA to see what their take is on this meltdown? I don’t wanna go over there, I don’t have time to take a shower afterwards.

Apparently, it's a place where disgruntled, Rudy supporting former FReepers go, to obsess about FR. Sort of like Clown Posse, but smaller and rather dull.

It’s the newest spinoff of FR kinda like Clown Posse, dedicated to heavy breathing over rudy.

“He will not get nominated now.”

Welllll....I dunno. He is the MSM darling at the moment. The reasons for this are somewhat suspicious to me as sites like FR clearly show a dissatisfaction with him among us everyday people. But, as with many things, we may be ignored. I have a feeling if that is indeed the case we are going to lose and lose big in ‘08 because many voters may just stay home rather than compromise their principles and vote for Rudy. This is just an observation. As President he (or anyone else) would not really be able to effect much change. That is the job of SCOTUS, and upcoming appointments to it. But it is indeed an leadership image thing.

About darn time Guiliani came out and said that, I profoundly disagree with his belief that aboriton is somehow a wonderful thing and a sign of great country.
