Ahh, I missed that line in the article.
Got it on second reading.
The poor, poor baby.
She looks like a tweaker...wanna bet that drugs are involved?
WTF??? I can’t even think I’m so freakin’ mad at this evil b*tch!!!
While she may have been on drugs at the time of the crime, drugs cannot be said to be a factor in what this evil B!^*H did to her son.
Happy Mothers Day.
Meth. You can’t see her teeth in that photo, but I bet they ain’t pretty.
Evil stalks abroad. We see it, just can’t or DO anything about it, because of laws.
I’m speechless at the horror of this.
What this b——h did is about as bad as it gets. What a complete and utter selfish b——h.

Correct..I didn’t mean to imply/suggest that was an excuse..I “save” stories liek this everytime I read about some idiot who wants to legalize drugs..
Millions of people in this country do illegal drugs every day. However, they do not do crap like this. She is evil and would have been evil with or without drugs.
If on the day she gets released her son happens to walk up to the prison gates and shoots her dead I just hope I would be on the jury. There are just certain times when justice has to fit the crime, and in this case if the child she gave birth and then did this to needed closer, then the I would vote for the insanity defense in a heartbeat.
What a sick society we live in.
I’m not sure she did it. Or whether she even knows whether she did it or not. With the amount of drug use going on here, it safe to assume that she (and probably the father too) associate with some very unsavory people. She may well have done it. But one of her drug dealers who she owed money to could also have done it. She could easily have been too drugged out to be awakened by the sound of someone entering and her baby screaming, and plenty drugged out enough to assume the dog did it when she saw the dog near the baby. The idiots on the grand jury who “declined to indict her” on the meth charges could have prevented this.
And I guarantee she'll be walking free with her reproductive system intact, and she'll use it again.
The child's father, Camden Gothia, 36, was not in court this morning to see the arrest, but his sister and mother were there and watched Nadal being led away by officers.
Nadal has not been allowed to see her son since the injuries were discovered because she tested positive for cocaine, methadone and a mild tranquilizer the day after the attack, Olguin has said previously.
Gothia was at work when the attack occurred and ended his relationship with Nadal immediately after the injuries were discovered. He has been allowed supervised visits with his son.
The baby was sleeping and in fine condition when Gothia left for work around 6 a.m. on the morning of the attack, although the baby had suffered from colic and cried a lot for several days previously, Gothia told police.
Gothia told investigators he tried to call Nadal at the apartment that day from 9 a.m. until 3:45 p.m., when she finally answered the phone. Gothia did not learn of his son's injuries until he returned to the apartment in the 400 block of El Dorado shortly after 4 p.m., the police complaint states.
