Can anyone come up with a reasonable explantion as to why we still have troops in Bosnia and Kosovo protecting these Muslims?

Or why we are allowing them to settle here?

If I recall, that plan was rather popular at the time. Still, it's only one bad apple per thousand. Mexicans should behave so well.

“... a fact that Fox News — which apparently thinks that “Yugoslavia” and “Albanians” are the same...”

To be fair....FOX just posted the AP report. It isn’t a separate opinion of FOX News.
The first report I saw, referred to them as “ethnic Albanians” and FOX was the first to identify them as muslim.

Most terrorist experts agree that the number is .10 % not .0010 %.

Worldwide, that's 120,000,000 radical Muslims and if the peaceful ones see them achieving their goals, they too will be quick to become radicalized.

Can anyone come up with a reasonable explantion as to why we still have troops in Bosnia and Kosovo protecting these Muslims?

According to Rep. Tom Lantos (D-CA) the answer would be:

"Just a reminder to the predominantly Muslim-led governments in this world that here is yet another example that the United States leads the way for the creation of a predominantly Muslim country in the very heart of Europe," he said April 17. "This should be noted by both responsible leaders of Islamic governments, such as Indonesia, and also for jihadists of all color and hue. The United States' principles are universal, and, in this instance, the United States stands foursquare for the creation of an overwhelmingly Muslim country in the very heart of Europe."

Why is U.S. pushing European Muslim state?

Thanks for the link.
“ Thus they conclude with quotes like this one, which appeared at the end of CBS’s dispatch yesterday...”

And that’s why CBS is having it’s lowest ratings in 20 yrs. They have’t figured out yet what they’re doing to turn people off. lol.

Very curious of the 4 Kosovars were among those that came through Fort Dix at the time.

I’m sad that Destro and A.Pole are not on FR anymore.

I might ‘rescue’ a rattlesnake from beneath my doorstep. I don’t however bring him into the house as a pet.

Every party in US(rats , pubbies, rinos, cnadidate bush .. all of them) supported Clinton's illegal war in Balkans: against our WWII allies serbs.

This is similar to US bipartisan efforts in muslim revival: carter let khomini take over iran. Started policy to arouse muslims against russians in afghanistan .. regan continued and magnified by providing them sofistacted weaponary like stringer missiles and training..

bush is chanting everyday: islam is religon of peace

if you sow the seeds .. be ready for harvest.

I, and most on FR, were against siding with the Albanian Muslimes. In fact, this issue is what got me to FR back in 1998.

Whoever dreamed up this policy knows no history. The nationalism of Balkan tribes was a huge pain to
Byzantium and was the powder keg that started WWI. Unification under Tito was a big improvement, and we should not be going back to the dark ages on this.

The guy who shot up the mall in Utah was a Balkan Muslim “rescuee.” The media has intentionally played down all indications that this guy was a freelance jihadi.
