The missionaries are sent out to sow doubt with implication that every denomination is lacking and only Mormonism is the restored Christian authority. So every missionary is involved in exactly what you sited.
After a month of solid whining and victimology and hamster-dancing by the same core of six or so mormon apologists, it is getting more than a little ridiculous.

Please don’t put words in my mouth. What I have been saying all along is that :
1) the man-God doctrine is dangerous because it leads to unbounded conceit among those in power positions(a la Harry Reid, but not limited to him)
2) that which sets Mormons apart from Christians is the prophecy of Joseph Smith, who left a documented physical trail of occult, masonic rites, crystal gazing, bank fraud $3 bills, etc. that would have made Tammy Fae Baker blush even without makeup. Covering up such fraud is a destabilizing effect when Mormons are confronted with the evidence, especially under the stress of leadership.
Those two conditions make the presidency of Mitt Romney something I cannot support. As far as what you want to believe as a faith, that is up to you, and I have no doubt most Mormons lead exemplary lives, doing good where they can. But please don’t expect me to cover my eyes and pull a voting lever without giving thought to the moral basis of Romney’s decisions.
So, I hope you are a better person than I am in your day to day existence (not that hard to do), but please don’t try and minimize the doctrinal difference that divide us. I believe wholeheartedly and with proof that Joseph Smith was an utter fraud.

Sorry, this lurker has moved beyond organized religion and on to the natural approach to life. Scripture quoters bore me. If you can get the money out of religion, I'll start to listen.

Tell you what, I’ll make this proposal. We’ll stop first. As long as our faith isn’t attacked, you won’t hear from us about it. As soon as you malign what we hold dear, we will respond.

If I found you to be the candidate that most agreed with me on the issues, I would. Mormons have been helping to elect Evangelicals and Protestants for quite some time now. Strangely, all the Catholic politicians seem to be liberals...
