Your heart is in the right place, mate, and you sound like someone I’d like to have as a FRiend.

> I admire bravery but walking around in many neighborhoods in Memphis, Tennessee, without any armed protection is suicide, especially if one is of a lighter colour of skin.

Mate, if I were in Memphis, I’d do it for your community in a heart-beat if that was something your community needed and wanted. So would any Guardian Angel: we are not easily intimidated by the Bad Guys. Or their guns, or their dogs, or their ugly mugs or their rap music or their tuff talk.

Quite frankly, the Bad Guys are more than welcome to leave our Communities post-haste.

Guardian Angels tend to attract dedicated volunteers, of every hue, age, gender, sexual preference, political persuasion and ethnicity. I just checked our list: we don’t currently have a Memphis TN Chapter yet. But we are present in Savannah GA and in The Bronx NY and in Chicago IL and in Capetown South Africa and London UK. And in about 30+ other dangerous cities worldwide, aside from Auckland (where I am).

We train hard in the martial arts, first aid and CPR, and our mission is to keep kids safe from drugs and gangs, to be positive role models for life, and to deter violent crime. We will get involved personally and physically if need be, and we will do a Citizen’s Arrest. And use a requisite amount of “reasonable force” to facilitate same.

So far, only six of us worldwide have died in service to our Communities, since our inception in 1979. And even then, those six brave volunteers were in the early days before we had a chance to develop our Patrol methodologies.

On that basis, Golf is probably more dangerous than being a Guardian Angel.

> Keep up the good work on your end of the world...

Thanks mate, shall. And if you or anyone you know wanted to establish a Chapter in Memphis, I can help facilitate that.

> I don’t believe this dog was drugged, just a pit bull doing what they do best and that is kill.

Killing is the only purpose for “pit bulls”, and it is not a purpose that Society needs to tolerate. They are dangerous, drugged or undrugged IMO.

Thanks for looking after Man’s Best Friend, and all the other animals. My 7-YO daughter wants to be a vetrinary, and if she still wants to be one when she gets out of school, I’m going to make that happen for her.

> Why go to the trouble of going from 90% to 99.99% purity for the purpose of exciting a dog?

The same reason you’d do it as a scroat: added power and viciousness.

> BZP

Benzylpiperizine, a capsicum extract. Often called “herbal Ecstasy. When we encounter people on BZP in the street they are overtly bouncy and happy (think “Tigger” from Winnie the Pooh) and maybe just a bit too wide awake without necessarily being “alert”, if that makes any sense.

(A scroat on P-Methamphetamine is both wide awake AND alert, not overly “happy” or “bouncy” but with plenty of aggro.)

Not for nothing are they called “party pills” here in NZ.

They are reported to have a serious adverse affect when combined with alcohol or other drugs, particularly if done in large quantities. Dehydration and exhaustion appears to be an issue, too.

Someone on BZP is a danger to themselves more than a danger to others. Someone on P-Meths is a danger to everybody including himself.
