...because the true religion (for the Leftist) is secularism. Deceitful to its core, it will not even acknowledge itself as a religion, hence the false “Church/State” dichotomy, and the twisting contortion of Jefferson’s words on the subject.

Then I guess that means that Cathoics are the only ones with morals because anyone that would vote for partial birth abortion is one sick dude with no morals what-so-ever.

Rosie O’Mengele chooses not to see the brutality of this procedure.

That’s all I need to know about Rosie. Her fat mouth opinions are worthless.

Any QVC shoppers here? Rumour is she was supposed to be a guest selling a crafting kit of some sort in May, now postponed to December. Voice your opinion on their website if you are inclined.

“Did Justices’ Catholicism Play Part in Abortion Ruling?”

So what if it did? What would be wrong with that?

It the new Supreme Court Litmus test a refusal to fear God?

You said, “You don’t have to be Catholic or even religious to see PBA as out and out murder. Even those who tolerate early abortion see PBA as murder.”

I’m Catholic and I agree with you. You don’t have to single out Catholics....I know people of the Lutheran faith who see abortion as immoral, and one of them is a Lutheran minister.

“Is it significant that the five Supreme Court justices who voted to uphold the federal ban on a controversial abortion procedure also happen to be the court’s Roman Catholics?”

I can play this game -

Is it significant that newspaper writers who support abortion also happen to be left wingers like Hitler?

Somebody is angry that they can no longer kill children while half-way out of the womb. So they are contemplating that, like, OMG!, Christianity was somehow involved.

Go ahead, Democrats. Play to anti-Catholicism and see how fast your support disappears. Catholics are among the citizens most likely to vote.

I am fairly certain that Tony Auth is the same Tony Auth that I went through Catholic grammar school with in the 50's. He was a cartoonist for those early years also.

He was the "artist" for his Catholic boys high school, as well ... amazing that he would denigrate the Catholics on the Court and have lost his way.

Did Bader-Ginsburg’s ACLU advocacy affect her opinion?

To assert that one's Catholicism should play no part in the decisions of public officials, as some have suggested, is the beginning of the outlawing of Catholicism. It is 180 degrees from what was intended with the "shall make no law regarding the establishment of religion" clause.

Anybody who professes some religious belief will likely have his or her actions altered by that belief. It's common sense. Whether it's the way I treat my employees, my neighbors, the way I vote or any other facet of life. Moral decisions will also be affected, including those which affect human life. That's what religion is meant to do.

Unless Catholicism is outlawed and Catholics barred from public life, then naturally a Catholic who lives out his or her faith will make decisions accordingly.

Where's the problem?

Did the justices who voted in favor of partial birth abortion allow their non-religious views to affect their decision? Honestly, it’s silly to expect that people would make decisions exclusive of their world-view...do democrats discard their political party view when choosing what to vote on...or republicans?

Geoffrey R. Stone, former dean and now provost of the University of Chicago's law school:
"Here is a painfully awkward observation: All five justices in the majority in Gonzales are Catholic. The four justices who are either Protestant or Jewish all voted in accord with settled precedent. It is mortifying to have to point this out."

Painfully awkward? Mortifying? These people really are insane. In this context, using language wholly appropriate to describe the gruesome, barbaric practice of live birth infanticide itself to refer to social embarrassment? I wonder if has ever occured to the self-absorbed Provost of the University of Chicago's law school that PBA really is mortifying to babies.

Cordially,

We will soon activate Plans “Niner” and “Pinto.” Niner is the total turnabout of the 9th Circuit Court using the activation of our “embedded justices” into the most conservative bench in the Country.

Pinto is the sudden disappearance of almost all of the funds in Planned Parenthood Accounts into Opus Dei-run banks in the Cayman Islands. These abortion funds will then be funneled into orphanages and rebuilding projects in the Third World.
