"sparking a debate in towns along the border over whether U.S. taxpayers should have to bear the costs of educating them" There is no debate.

The border crossing is so common in El Paso that officials opened a special lane just for students this month. Now everybody, this is what happens when the Democrats take over Congress as wrassle constitutional power away from the President.

Know it all too well even here and in the Phoenix area, as you know Jinx, both my wife and my Daughter in Law work in the schools.

There is a huge train wreck coming in this country. The permissiveness of our lame federal and local governments are bringing a huge showdown between real Americans, the illegals, and the government. I have friends that teach in schools that have been overrun by illegals and many of them are transferring or quitting because the illegals pull down the classes so badly, real American children CANNOT LEARN and this, to say nothing of the COST TO THE TAXPAYER for all the extra crap the illegals require....
A day of reckoning is coming because we have government that refuses to take care of America —

Exactly! There should be just as much “debate” as there would be in Mexico, if US citizens were streaming across the border to attend Mexican schools.
To: trumandogz
No, this is what happens when you have a President who favors this sort of stuff.

This is, to me, the most difficult thing to understand about the crimalien mess.
WHY ON EARTH do illegal immigrants get ANYTHING, much less free schools?
It's incomprehensible.

I was not offended in any way whatsoever. Your comment did not need to be deleted.
To: TexasGunLover
You mean taxpayers are paying to dumb down Mexican kids too?
To: I see my hands
They are “sparking” more than a debate.
