Very insightful. I think that the insurgency in Iraq will be over by early next year and it will no longer be an issue in the election.

Certainly the pro-life candidates did well in the past several elections, except in a few pro-abortion hotspots. Although I think a few of the “blue dog” Democrats may have gotten away with faking it.

One thing is certain, the ‘Rat nominee in 2008 will be openly pro-abortion.

Me thinks the author is right. Abortion is something that just about any reasonable person thinks—yea, knows—is morally wrong, and there is no room for discussion of the matter.

I hope you are right, but the Democrats want a genocides and they have the votes. Genocide for the unborn and genocide for our allies, the people seem to like the sound of it. Where is the funding? It seems a long shot that the Demons will blink.

I sure hope so. We live in such a twisted world though.

I disagree.

I think we’re staring President Hillary straight in the face. As of now, there is not a Republican candidate who will unite the party.

Ironically, I think the ONLY person standing in the way of Hillary taking the White House is Al Gore. If he runs, I think he gets the Dem nomination.

"That's because the next President could appoint the U.S. Supreme Court justice who could tip the balance against Roe v. Wade, "

Perhaps. I believe that the swing pro-abortion judges have been appointed by Republican Presidents. Two problems for the GOP 1] other issues could make things worse in the Senate 2]strong pro-life people that I have talked to no longer think the GOP is a pro-life party, Giuliani and big state governors have left a bad smell in the big tent.

Wrong! President Hillary is staring US in the face and demanding,

“WHERE are your GUNS!!? Turn them in NOW, and nobody gets hurt!!”

I honestly don’t know if virtue is going to outwit vice in the next election. I do know the stakes are high and our side needs to win in order to save human lives, that for some inexplicable reason, others are willing to see be literally sacrificed. If you look at history, these battles are usually not neat and tidy and they do not follow a predictable or validating script. Often the right side doesn’t realize their fruit of their work during their lives. Given that, and I’m not trying to be negative, we really have our work cut out for us. But we do have virtue on our side, and eventually, it will win. For the time being, we can assume nothing, expect nothing, and take nothing for granted. I think the key in our current situation is to keep pushing the envelope (to borrow a strategy) and continue to put the human life being sacrificed in front of people (ie) ultra sounds, conversation, and refusing to be streamrolled. If we lose, we lose lives. If they lose, they lose comfort. That’s our reason, but it still won’t be easy.

Pro-lifers are simply more committed to an electoral victory than those who support the destruction of the most vulnerable members of our society. Virtue is, in the end, more likely to achieve victory than vice is.
