“~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I Do Not Care How Much Money You Make Off Sellin’ The USA KRAP From cHina !!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~”
Socialist.
What, are you in favor of protective tarriffs?
You know, like the kind that caused the GREAT DEPRESSION and REALLY destroyed the American economy?
The Chinese produce a cheaper product. You think Americans should be forced to buy an expensive American product, just to keep lazy union bums in jobs that pay way more than their worth?
Socialist!
“_______________
FREE TRADE SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
_______________”
So, do YOU shop at WalMart?
Or CVS?
Or Walgreens?
“___________________
TANKS for the ping MOM...This money-makin’/GREED BS is
what got US into this mess,,,
___________________”
I got us into this mess? I did?
Didn’t YOU vote for Reagan, the Free Trader?
And George Bush, the Free Trader?
Didn’t YOU make fun of Ross Perot and vote for Bush?
Didn’t YOU vote for W, the free trader who has left the borders open?
Aren’t YOU for whoever the Republican Free-trader, over against those fat lazy Union-thug-bastard supporting Democrats?
You have the government policies YOU have been voting for for 20-odd years, and YOU are telling ME that I’M the problem?
Or are you a socialist who votes for pro-Union anti-free trade Democrats like Gephardt?
______________________________
To Hell With Klintoon-Free-Trade !!!
_____________________________
This the best part of all!
You think CLINTON gave you free trade?
Newsflash. Clinton has been out of office for SEVEN YEARS.
George W. Bush has torn up plenty of treaties that he didn’t like, like the ABM Treaty, and the Kyoto Treaty. But he’s let that treaty with China stand.
And he won’t close the border.
Hell, he won’t even let the Defense Department cut off the contracts with Halliburton even though they’re shifting themselves to Kuwait.
Bush, not Clinton, was the guy who tried to sell the ports to Dubai.
This tainted food was imported under the policies of Bush, not Clinton.
But it’s CLINTON’S fault, and you’re sure going to show him!Whoever the (free trade, open border) Republican is, you’re gonna get out there and vote for him over against that lyin’ scum’ sucking pro-UNION Democrat socialist, aren’t you?
See, I love guys like you.
You and I vote exactly the same.
I vote for my interests.
And so do you.
But I know I am voting to keep me rich.
You think you’re voting against Clinton.
It’s great.
Please, carry on!
I don’t know. I’m leaning hard towards Duncan Hunter, but also like Ron Paul because he is a STRICT constitutionist. He votes “no” on nearly everything that shows up in Congress because it’s unconstitutional.
But if you say anything on FR about liking or considering voting for Paul, put on a flame retardant suit because Republicans, is appears, don’t like strict constitutionists. He’s called a liberal, a socialist pig, etc. I thought for years that Republicans were champions of the constitution, but they consider that a liberal thing.
Truth is, anybody with a brain in America is stuck between a rock and a hard place.
The Republican Party is controlled by the rich. Always has been. Always will be. It has lots of policies that well-meaning folks like...like opposing abortion, for instance...but those policies never...quite...get...done. But the tax cuts? BAM! They get rammed through. And not just any old tax cuts! Payroll taxes were very little cut. But taxes that hit me, the capital class? My capital gains are taxed less than your wages. My dividends are taxed less than your wages. My WAGES are probably taxed less than your wages, percentage-wise (because, see, I stop paying Social Security tax after $97,000, so you’re paying a nearly 6% flat tax on ALL your wages, but I’m paying a 6% flat tax on only a portion of mine. After that, the tax goes away. And when I die? Well, all of accumulated wealth gets to pass tax free to my daughter, and my grandkids or greatgrandkids will simply be born into the relative ease of life that wealth lets you have. The Estate Tax would put a crimp on that inherited wealth and power, and there is NO TAX CUT for which the GOP has fought harder and more tenaciously than to keep that estate tax gone. The GOP will allow for an income tax increase (which hits you), if that’s the price of making sure that the capital class can pass their millions intact. The Estate Tax is the capstone of the game, and tax cuts were, are, and always will be, the core policy of the GOP. Because the GOP leadership is primarily beholden to the capital class. That’s who they primarily serve. Other issues, they’ll take a stand, but the truth is that they won’t even raise taxes to fund a WAR. That’s the GOP.
Over on the Democrat side, we’ve got...what? Infanticide. Race baiting. Anti-defense sentiment. And amnesty for illegal aliens...a real witches brew of social issues. Democrats are for reinstating those tax cuts that the rich granted themselves via the GOP. The Democrats want to lose a war in Iraq. They’re pro-Union, and less pro-Free-Trade, but they still basically support free trade.
So, which is worse?
The Democrats are worse: they’ll raise MY taxes.
Do you think it would help any to flood our local Congressmen and Senators for answers.
Would anything motivate them to involve themselves in our health and concern?
“When I was A Kid ~~~Food was grown in the USA”
Which is precisely where OUR food supply should be concentrated. Anything from outside the U.S. should be only supplemental such as non growable here, but that covers very little doesn’t it.
As we see today, not only is it imperative we strictly control our food and its source for health purposes, but also for National Security purposes.
“Would anything motivate them to involve themselves in our health and concern?”
Fear of being turned out of office.
You would probably do more good to write on the issue specifically to President Bush, Vice President Cheney, Fred Thompson (since he’s going to be the GOP nominee), Rudy Giuliani, John McCain, Mitt Romney, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and John Edwards.
Let any one of them pick up the hue-and-cry, and it will suddenly become “an issue”. My guess is that you’ll have greater luck with Edwards, and then maybe Hillary, than any of the others on that list.
This makes me wonder about even eating in Chinese restaurants. Where I live, there are several Chinese buffets which feature all-you-can-eat-food in the $10 to $12 per person range. It’s a good deal, and it’s a cheap way to have some seafood in my diet. But now I’m wondering if maybe I should take my business elsewhere.
