“What happened to the companies that made all their own product “

I have been "assured" that Friskies makes their own cat food and that it is "totally" safe. I was so worried after these massive recalls hit that I checked them out. With the exception of one time when my cats ate the meat and gravy pouches, they have always eaten Friskies with meat cuts with gravy. I had blood tests done to make sure there was no damage from the pouch food they ate. Thank God, there was nothing in their blood to show any kidney damage, so for now, I'm telling everyone to buy Friskies. My kitties (Two year old kitties. LOL) are my 'babies,' and I would be devastated if anything happened to them. ;o)

Go to http://www.buckeyenutrition.com and put in your zip code in the “Dealer Locator” box.
Hopefully you’ll have a dealer nearby.

Ours is a little mom & pop farm/pet supply store near here.

We’ve been buying multiple bags at a time to compel them to keep it in stock.
[just bought 2 more today even though we didn’t really need any yet]

I don’t know exactly where you are but they’ve got 16 dealers in TX.

Okey-dokey...:)

What shocked me is that I’ve heard from many Ibizan owners that “Royal Canin” is *the* thing to buy.
I checked the bags and all of them had -corn- which along with soy, is something Ibizans should *not* have. [or only have in ~very~ small amounts]

It’s hard to find a good, reasonably priced high protein food these days *without* corn or soy hiding in there somewhere.
I’d buy what you suggested but I have 5 large, very active hounds and I’d go broke feeding them that.....;-D
[they already have more money going towards *their* food than *I* do every month]
