Wonder if ABC will replace her with Cynthia Nixon (formerly of Sex in the City)?
She’s also an insane lesbian.
Rosie's Success, and Failure: A Post-Mortem, or, "America, Say Goodbye to Jo-Jo the Dog-Faced Boy"
ABC is nutsier ... as are those who actually turn in to watch her.
Rosie - I never watched the show, I only saw newsclips of it when you were saying something profoundly stupid, which was almost every day, of course.
The craziest thing I saw wasn't your lunatic ravings, it was the enthusiastic clapping of the raving lunatics in the audience. Where do you find these people? Do they bus morons back and forth from the Springer show?
But it's obvious that you have your fans. Maybe you've attracted a lot of other bitter lesbians to the audience or something, I know I don't get it. But I think it's nice you all have a place where you can hang out together, I guess...
To try to put a positive spin on all this, you can let Barbara know that your departure will not affect my viewing habits. So put on a smiley face! :)
Rosie can always open a queer bar or if that doesn't’t work out she can go to CBS and NBC.
I like that - Rosie didn't want to stay longer, ABC wanted her longer.....
“it was the enthusiastic clapping of the raving lunatics in the audience. Where do you find these people?”
Apparently, that includes my best friend and her silly-cliquey housewife neighborhood pals.

Ms. O’Donnell is mentally ill. ABC exploits it.
I have no use for O’Donnell, but it is undeniable that she brought increased ratings to The View. It may be like a train wreck that you can’t help watching, but she racked up viewers, and made money for ABC. It is hard to tell if ABC finally put taste above money (which sounds unlikely to me) or if they really just could not reach a deal (which, frankly, also sounds unlikely to me. If she is worth $10million, and ABC doesn’t care if it is perceived as having no class, it should have been worked out.) I look forward to hearing the real story.
.
That's a typo -- should be, "she wanted one more year, ABC wanted her locked up for three."
So who's exploiting it now, making it the lead story for most of yesterday?
I'd rather she be the new anchor for the USS Jimmy Carter...
