I made the mistake of sipping on a beverage as I read that. But I did manage to keep it out of my nasal passages!

I could’ve also had - if it were 6 RCR wins or 8 Ford/Dodge/Toyota wins, we’d have a rule change, but I’ve tossed enough brickbats to make that a safe assumption from me.

Yeah, Smoke comes down on McMurray and it McMurrays fault...You are accurate. I reran the segment several times... the yellow car behind Smoke twisted Smoke down into McMary... I can figure out who was driving the yellow car yet. They've probably already figured it out, because during my replaying, they have a whole team of analysts and cameramen :o)

There was very little thrown on the track. There’s always the drunks who will ruin things for everyone else. Wild bunch of folks show up at Dega.

To: steveegg
I was going by last week end whe he tied Earnheart’s record. I forgot about Petty. You’re right.
He will definately pass even Petty’s mark though, you can about guarantee it if he stays healthy.
To: vox_freedom
what a set up..Gordo beats Earnhardt’s record on Earnhardt’s birthday... such a joke

Nope, he's just a Champion...the most wins in ACTIVE DRIVERS! Petty has 200, but back "in the day" they raced on Thursday, Friday, Saturday AND Sunday!
PROUD to be a GORDON FAN since 1993!

I think I might be embarrassed to be a JR fan at this stag. Pathetic display of ZERO-sportsmanship.
To: GRRRRR
They’d find something to change, even to the point of handicapping the successful at the expense of everybody else. They’ve done it before, and you can bet if it were Roush, they’d do it now.

No, Jeff will not break the Petty record...he’d need to win ten races a year for the next TEN YEARS just to get to 177...but the 24 WILL set the modern record and it will stay that way for a long, long time.

Didn’t have time to reference the quote, but check out the post to which I was responding. I meant Tony. He started charging hard, up high and strong, all by hisself and managed to get close to the leaders.
