Notice how a bag marked melamine was included with the rice protein shipment?
Tin foil hat firmly in place. That likely (with any hope) was planted by one of the lowly workers in paradise, as a warning. I'll keep my hat handy for a spell. Blackbird.

Anyone know if theres any relationship between the two, owned by the same parent company for instance?
LOL! Yes there is a direct connection between the 2 "firms" you mentioned. It's called the Communist Chinese Government. Blackbird.

so I guess it's PB & J or maybe ... plain toast? ;-)
Take a minute and read the ingredients on that loaf of bread. Blackbird.

Chocolate is toxic to dogs, but how about grapes?
So the tainted petfood wasn't destroyed but redeployed. Now it's in the human foodchain.

Take a minute and read the ingredients on that loaf of bread. Blackbird.Ugh. I am already an avid reader of the labels and reject several kinds. I like the breads that are baked on premises with a chewy or crusty texture and various grains. So I suppose they aren't immune from contamination either! Maybe just the PB & J then? ;-)

I believe grapes and raisins are no-nos for dogs.

I heard that yesterday. Is it the sugar content (which causes an immediate digestive reaction in a dog that need not be described) ?

I have no idea. I read it in a book that my vet gave me when I took our puppy in for her first checkup. There was no explanation, just a list of foods you should never feed them.
