Jail him.

If he breaks federal laws, or prevents their enforcement, then he should face justice.

I have decided that I don’t like city taxes. Oh, and parking tickets.

Gavin Newsom should be charged with aiding and abetting the breaking of federal law.

San Rafael Mayor Al Boro in March called on California's U.S. senators, Democrats Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein, to push the immigration agency to change how it is enforcing immigration law because he believed children were the ones being hurt.

When we defy federal immigration law, we're really doing it for the children. Excuse me while I go take a Newsome and wipe my San Franscisco.

Can he at least secede from the Union so the rest of the nation isn’t saddled by his illegal activities?

"I will not allow any of my department heads or anyone associated with this city to cooperate in any way shape or form with these raids," Newsom declared.

Fine. Maybe there's a brave Republican in the House or Senate who will introduce legislation tying federal funds to cooperation in the fight against illegal immigration. No cooperation - no funds. Much like what Lousenberg did tying the speed limit to federal funding for highway projects.

I wont be holding my breath, however.

Go ahead, let them all flock there. The city cannot keep federal agents from coming in and rounding them all up. Easier to find them all in one place than scattered about. Then jail Newsom for aiding in the commission of a felony.

Newsom declared. "We are a sanctuary city, make no mistake about it."

Make no mistake about it not one dime of my money will be spent in that sanctuary city. He deserves any problems that comes with that status too. I guess he doesn't care about LEGAL CITIZENS and what they think.

Send all illegals, homegrown criminals, jihadis, traitors, irredeemably clueless leftists, noncompliant TB and AIDS patients, baby daddies, baby mommas and every person who ever voted for Sanjaya to San Francisco. We can then blockade the bay and wall off the city a la Escape From New York.

Mayor Boro said Friday that San Rafael has not declared itself a sanctuary city.

“It is not a city’s responsibility to enforce immigration laws, any more than it is the responsibility of federal agents to enforce city laws,” Boro said.

Boro said he looked into making San Rafael a sanctuary city but decided against doing so because it would do nothing to stop ICE from continuing its raids. “It would give people a false sense of hope,” Boro said.

Boro said he is most concerned about the effect the raids are having on the children of immigrants, many of whom are legal U.S. residents because they were born here.

“They’re living in fear right now,” Boro said. “Eventually, that fear is going to turn into resentment.”

TOUGH!
