Look I’m sick of you harrassing me in defense of a banned poster. Drop it!

The last I checked, his account was still active.

Good. I hope his posts remain here as a monument to his stupid "exit."

My point was just to say he can't fool us by choosing never again to post as Al Simmons. Whether his account remains open or not, he will open a new account.

“Whether his account remains open or not, he will open a new account.”

Possibly, although I think his IP address might give him away!

“You’re going to have to do better than to keep claiming that “real conservatism” could have won in 2006. I wish it were otherwise, but I won’t fool myself.”

So what is your plan for getting the middle roaders and indies back. They are hopelessly indoctrinated with liberal megaphones of the educators and media, constantly.

I’m sure that if the conservatives give up and vote for Giuliani that would be detrimental in the long run to conservatism. That seems clear to me.

Fred Thompson fits every one of your criteria. And he’s upbeat and fun, too. :)

“We used to call that the Lt. Columbo exit.”

LOL.

Off topic I know, but.....
Trivia Question: What is Lt. Columbo's first name?

Who is the “Limbaugh staffer” referenced in that post?

I wondered that too. Who, from NY or FL (assuming that's where his staffers are) has been banned or quit since this thread was posted?

Your odds of dying in a terrorist attack are minuscule compared to your odds of dying at the hands of a violent criminal. How many murders were there in the US last year? And how many American civilians died from terrorist attacks? As I said before, Rudy’s gun policies will get you killed long before his imagined anti-terror record has a chance to save you.

There are a huge number of good people still here. You for instance.

This "Rudy-hater" is going to second that. I've never known OWF to be anything other than an asset to this site, and a very pleasant individual to boot. I think some of the abuse she's taken on this thread was uncalled for. She's one of the "good guys".

This thread -- gosh.

FR's night of the long knives.

FR will be a very, very different place going forward, apparently.

I would caution you to take that info with not just a grain of salt, but with enough saline for the entire Atlantic Ocean.

Yes, a place were conservatives can advance their ideals without people trying to sell liberalism as conservatism.

PKM was asked serveral times if she was working with the Rudy campaign. It was a legitimate question based on her own comments. In fact, from reading her comments about Rudy it was like watching those teenagers on American Idol swoon over Sanjaya. I don’t know of anyone who goes ga-ga for Rudy as much as PKM did here. Anyway, in spite of being asked again and again if she was a campaign worker for Rudy, she simply avoided answering the question. About two weeks ago, when she announced her departure from here, she finally admitted that she has an official role with Rudy’s campaign. Since February of this year PKM has been on a Pro-Rudy site that consists of mostly ex-freepers (and some active freepers). Nothing wrong with that, except to say that she wasn’t being totally upfront with us about her relationship with Rudy. The only person that “impuned” PKM’s integrity is herself. Had she been upfront about this from the beginning and answered the questions about her involvement with Rudy, no one would be discussing this. If that’s not deceptive and dishonest then I don’t know what is.

“...I’m a one-issue voter: Pro-torture. That pretty well sums up a lot of people’s feelings. If you don’t begin by protecting the lives of the living, there is no pro-life movement. And that’s a fact.”

...and we can’t have a conservative anti terror nominee why?
