We won every single race we were involved in last election cycle.

Any more personal information you want, troll?

You mean the Ruby Slippers? I done awarded them last night to someone else - so I don't have them any more.

As I said in another reply, you seem to think that the issues on which you oppose Rudy are "major" while those on which I oppose Bush are less so.

Don't agree. Sorry.

I absolutely respect your decision NOT to hold your nose and vote for Rudy, as long as you also accept my decision to vote third party in '00 and '04.

Nestle's chips and real butter, not margarine.

Oleo is a four letter word in baking. I usually have Ghirardelli chips, but Nestle will be the chips du jour.

OK....then it’s true, that WAS said over there. I didn’t doubt you, gpapa, I didn’t want to believe that things like that would happen.

When this all started, I really did NOT care one way or another if Ivan started a forum and like-minded folk joined him.

But to PLAN to come here & goad FRers...and then act innocent when they’re called on it...that crosses a line with me.

That is flat out WRONG. Go and have your forum, do what you can to support your guy...but why does THIS have to happen???

“If you support him, knowing his positions on those issues, then you are supporting those issues. Those are major issues. I simply can’t fathom why someone who holds the opposing positions on those issues would support him.”

EASY.
Rudy’s the front-runner.
If Rudy gets the nomination he’ll be up against Hillary Clinton.
Many of us would rather support someone we disagree with on some (or even most) major issues than someone with whom we disagree on EVERY SINGLE ISSUE.

Alan Keyes always wins, since he stands for the fundamental principles of liberty. You, on the other hand, are a loser.

How about natural law as it pertains to homosexuality? Do you acknowledge that?

Which natural law theory are you referring to? There is not just one theory of natural law. Certain religious-based natural law theories definitely do have a problem with homosexuality - and as I said, I am not concerned with that. I am not the least bit concerned with what others do in their bedrooms nor in what specific religions interpret as "natural law" - except as a point of interest. I am concerned with the documents that the Founders left us and that they are interpreted as was intended. I do not care for the idea of amending and tinkering to appease any special-interest group, be it on the left or the right.

Please go away.
***NO. I’ve been on this thread since almost the beginning. I’ve been on FR since almost the beginning, longer than you. While you’ve been off posting funny pictures, some of us socons were getting our bones gnawed at by some of those ex-freepers you call your FRiends. And you come onto this thread and post material offensive to religious conservatives. You apologized to KAC but you let the comment still stand.

I support JimRob 110%.
***Then help him refocus this socon site into a socon site.

I have just lost all my FRiends.
***I understand that. I have expressed grief earlier in this thread as well, hoping that it would come to an end. But today we see that there have been FReepers who admitted that they were agent provocateurs for many years. So my advice to you is to get off this thread. Stay on Free Republic.

You pick up the paper one day and read that they’re all gone!
***Maybe if you had been reading the paper closer all along you would have seen this coming. Go back over the rudy threads from a couple of months ago onward and you will see that they brought this on themselves. They were not in alignment with the core values of Free Republic.

People, we need to get over the FR site and start posting articles and commenting. We have to help WA grow. I know it's hard to find interesting articles because the MSM is treating all Republican candidates with a big yawn, but we need things to discuss besides FR which is getting old quickly.

Thanks. Looks like that poster is saying that its better to post news articles then it is to post criticisms of FR.

Sounds like good advice.
