I want us to come together to get someone all of us can vote for, holding our noses or not. We are still in the primary process .. I will vote for who I think is the more conservative candidate .. as will everyone else .... because that is how the process works
Though I know it's a long shot for Hunter .. he's got my vote
Should another candidate get in the race .. I will keep an open mind and seriously take a look at that person also
Though come the General election .. I would vote for whoever the GOP candidate is
Because no matter was is said .. A socialist dem in the WH with a socialist controlled congress is not something our country can survive
And if you think I'm wrong .. just take a look at Gramma Nan and numbnut Reid and the Bills they just got passed
If that all makes me a liberal troll .. then so be it

What the hell happened to Howlin? Or are we all supposed to ignore that?
She said something nasty and left in a huff.
She always carried a huge chip on her shoulder and I have mostly ignored her since I came to this site.

While I'm aware and understand Jim Robinson is the site founder and site admin and site overseer, thousands contribute funds to keep this site active......so I'm not sure about the "Jim Rob's house".....analogy.... If so, then your grasp of analogy is no firmer than the one you hold, re: grammar and punctuation. Spending money at any given privately-owned operation or locale does not carry with it the right, implicit or otherwise, to ignore (much less supercede) the rules of said establishment.
You cannot walk into a movie theater, and -- because you paid to get in -- stage a noisy, drunken party in the center of the lobby. Admission to any city's art museum doesn't grant the paying patron the "right" to scrawl on the walls, or conduct an impromptu indoor game of softball.
A basic understanding, re: the sanctity of private property, is a baseline tenet of conservatism, and always has been. Period, end of sentence, full stop.

It’s that temptation to say, no I don’t which gets us every time...

What exactly is the problem with baiting? Jim wanted to find out who the liberals were and give them the opportunity to either become conservative or leave, he didn’t force these liberals to out themselves.

So who are you pimping for then? RR’s gone so who floats your boat now, and why should we vote for him...other than the fact that he or she isn’t Rudy.

Doesn’t in my opinion. I just don’t believe Rudy would do anything different in substance than Hillary to be honest...But I could even vote for (shudder, shudder, shudder) McCain for the good of the party.
This is a bridge we will have to cross if we get to it. And it will be a matter of conscience.
Until then, I will work like the dickens. And try to not tear us apart on hypotheticals.

So true! But there is also no honor in not defending oneself against false accusations. I would also defend a friend as well. :)

What the hell happened to Howlin? She's one of the moderators at the newest anti-FReeper forums. She was upset that conservatives "have their foot on the throat of the GOP."

My Position from the start has been:
If we need people we can process in new citizens who have never committed any crime including entering illegally.
And who are drawn from every country in the world
From Iceland To South Africa, From Norway to South Korea
Every corner of the globe, not giving ANY preference to the few nations to our immediate south.
My Position Has Not Changed.
