best comment of the thread so far
Another form of Brownout for California from their favorite liberal/progressives.
Heh. I was just wondering how they were going to blame Texas for this one.
After about a Gazillion local tax dollars the Charles river is alot cleaner now.
“The State Water Project delivers water to 25 million people from the Bay Area to San Diego, but a shutdown would probably most severely affect Dublin, Pleasanton and Livermore.”
The irony of this will start to hit the homes of some of the most radical enviro fly fishers in the state.
Many of them live mini Al Gore lifestyles in these areas. They have big homes with double air conditioners, furnaces, suvs, big high powered fishing boats to fish the Delta and fish 25-50+ times a year for Stripers. Their so called carbon foot prints are huge compared to most of us. They couldn’t arouse much public croc tears for Stripers, so they focused on Salmon which is right up there with whales and seals re pseudo care and love by the general population.
I have no problem with that if they can afford it. However, I do have problems when they get on their “Save the Fish” green soap boxes and attack farmers/ranchers and anyone daring to live in California, who uses water besides them.
Their hypocritical stands are why I no longer belong to Cal Trout, Trout Unlimited and no longer contribute to and participate in many of the various fly fishing internet sites.
We MUST have Affirmative Action for Fish & Plants AND Welfare for Wildlife!!! (/dripping sarcasm)
Why don't ya all call Arnold The RINOateher and ask him to straighten this all out???
I’ve said it before. This is going to hit the fan like the rolling blackouts did. Just wait until people find their toilets not working.
