I doubt Jesus thought very much of the shooter who killed 33 people. If there is a way to prevent another mother in tears, I do not think Jesus would be angry at someone saving a life at the hands of a mad man.GOD IS STRICT BUT REMBEMBER HE IS NOT BLIND!

They believe in Jesus? I believe Jesus was telling us to take care of our own, not the government.

LOL, the question confused me at first - - the geniuses at KLBJ don’t know that “airline” is one word?
Pathetic.

Jesus could not only quote scripture. His words also made complete sense unlike the nonsense the left speaks everyday.

Their webmaster must have attended UT Austin. That’s not the first time he or she has had funny worded polls or questions.

Is the Bible the Word of God?
Of course.
Ten out of ten Bibles agree: NASB: And He said to them, “But now, whoever has a money belt is to take it along, likewise also a bag, and whoever has no sword is to sell his coat and buy one. (NASB ©1995)
GWT: Then he said to them, “But now, the person who has a wallet and a traveling bag should take them along. The person who doesn’t have a sword should sell his coat and buy one. (GOD’S WORD®)
KJV: Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
ASV: And he said unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise a wallet; and he that hath none, let him sell his cloak, and buy a sword.
BBE: And he said to them, But now, he who has a money-bag, or a bag for food, let him take it: and he who has not, let him give his coat for money and get a sword.
DBY: He said therefore to them, But now he that has a purse let him take it, in like manner also a scrip, and he that has none let him sell his garment and buy a sword;
WEY: “But now,” said He, “let the one who has a purse take it, and he who has a bag must do the same. And let him who has no sword sell his outer garment and buy one.
WBS: Then said he to them, But now he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his sack: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
WEB: Then he said to them, “But now, whoever has a purse, let him take it, and likewise a wallet. Whoever has none, let him sell his cloak, and buy a sword.
YLT: Then said he to them, ‘But, now, he who is having a bag, let him take it up, and in like manner also a scrip; and he who is not having, let him sell his garment, and buy a sword,

Personally I don't have a problem with that, but I don't have a problem with permanent residents owning either.
The question is, what kind of rights exactly is a permanent resident entitled to? We don't let them vote, and since the right to bear arms is essentially guaranteed as a part of the political process, I think it would be reasonable to prohibit them from that as well.
I'd have to prove my citizenship when buying a gun, but I don't think that's prohibitive.

I read a little bit ago about that man, and someone stated that the “rescued became the rescuer.”
They claimed this to be his defining moments of his life.
While they defined him, they do not define the times. The man escaped from guncontrol once. Decades later, gun control won.
We all need to listen and learn from history. Bless this man, and keep others from being forced to follow his example.

Interesting that he mentions Darfur and Iraq in his gun control arguments. The weapon of choice in Darfur is the machete and in Iraq it’s IEDs.

He also made this statement
But human nature is such that murderers will almost always have guns, and even when deprived, will resort to equally lethal weapons.

No surprise.
Beware the wolf in sheep’s clothing.
The Left has been infiltrating religion for some time now, plucking the emotional heart strings that underlie much of religious devotion.

Gun control is like trying to reduce drunk driving by making it tougher for sober people to own cars.

Cho was an English major. David Horowitz has shown in surveys that the English departments at colleges are the most leftist in terms of the profs’ politics. He probably had his head of mush filled with anti-capitalist teachings from his profs.
