If a woman wants to have her leg amputated, that's fine with me. She can do whatever she wants with her own body, after all. Abortion is the deliberate killing of a life separate from her own, and that life is jeopardized simply because of geography. Freedom has nothing to do with it. She was free to keep her legs together at the knees, after all, in about 98% of all unexpected pregnancies.

My real thought is that if there are some 55 million abortions annually worldwide and 35 million in the U.S. alone, what does that say about women anyway?

How come we, as a nation, are outraged when one gunman kills 32 people, and we aren’t outraged when 55 million women kill unwanted babies?
