However, as more information comes out, particularly the declaration by a Virginia state judge in 2005 that Cho was “insane and a danger to himself and others”, I am asking why didn’t his parents do anything about it? Had they given up on the kid? Too busy building their business? This is not peculiar to immigrants. I remember the Columbine mass murderers stored their guns under their beds in their bedrooms. Didn’t the parents of these evil boys go into their bedrooms? No, apparently they wanted to respect their darlings’ privacy.

If my kid was ruled insane by a judge, I would drop everything to get him the professional help he needed. Why do parents turn off from the lives of their adolescents?
