Just make sure that you’re not denying Fred Thompson something which you wouldn’t deny yourself of. In other words, if you were single for 18 years, you would want to date around too. To blast Fred for having a dozen or so girlfriends over a 17 year period (all while he was single, no less) makes your side and argument weak.

And a lot of these women he’s (allegedly) dated look young, but they’re older than many Rudy supporters had hoped. Kellyanne Conway is no spring chicken, for instance. There’s no birth year for her that I could find, but she started college in 1985, so she presumably was born in 1966/67.

Since when has it been unacceptable or taboo for a 60 year old man to date a 40 year old woman?

If this is intended as a hit piece, it’s a weak attempt. How is a single man supposed to find a wife if he doesn’t date? If this is the worst dirt the MSM can dig up on Fred Thompson, he’s lived a pretty clean life. More points in his favor, IMO.

Wow...he dated women.

Was he married when he dated those women? No.

Did he dump his wife and try to kick her out of the house while he was dating those women? No. Did he dump his wife, using an official press conference to tell her, and try to kick his wife AND KIDS out of the house while trying to move into the house the woman that he was committing adultery with? No.

Your attempts to associate Fred Thompson with Giuliani's sleaze are obvious. It's not going to work. Tearing down a conservative (no, he's not the most conservative Senator out there) to make a liberal candidate look better on this conservative forum should not be tolerated. Knock it off.

he pretty much missed Korea (too young) and Vietnam (too old)

Your math's off a bit: Twenty-five years old in 1967 was not too old for Vietnam.

It also says a lot about Fred Thompson’s patience, which Rudy apparently has little of.

Rudy couldn’t go more than a year or two his entire life without being married. In my book, that’s a serious weakness.

I mean, we’re all individuals, right? Just how needy does one have to be to constantly have to have someone else with him/her all the time?

Rudy just seems seriously dependent, like he can’t properly function or be effective unless he’s surrounded by tons of other people.

Yes, it’s shocking that an attendee at the 10th Annyal Screen Actors Guild Award would dress like a movie star!

I hope Fred runs......but what is more important is who he would pick for VP. If his cancer (God forbid) came back (and it’s a good chance it might), we’d have a new President.

I am sure they can all take it. Anyone who can’t is not strong enough to run. And so far I don’t see anyone without guts yet.
