Isn't it amazing how ignorant and at the same time opinionated foreigners can be about the United States
Is it ignorance of who Imus really was? or just part of another Stalinist big lie.
Imus was carried locally during part of the Clinton years. I remember him reprimanding his staff to stop bashing Bill Clinton.
I still remember regular guest Tim Russert excitement that a White House insider told him that the Clinton's were going to name their new dog after his son.
Ignorance or another big lie by the left? Imus of course was a favorite haunt of America's who's who of the liberals and RINOs.
Only till Sirius or XM radio picks him up!
being a bit of a capitalist I expect the stock of both to start edging up and a 10% spike on the day of the announcement... http://finance.yahoo.com/q/ta?s=siri+xmsr&t=3m&l=on&z=m&q=c&p=m20%2Cv&a=m26-12-9%2Cfs%2Css%2Cp12&c=
Howard Stern is a bigot? Who knew?
“I don’t think there’s any difference between the pope wearing a large hat and parading around with a smoking purse and an African painting his face white and praying to a rock.’
Except that the rock is real...
???!!! Was this on satellite radio or regular radio? Did the FCC move in?
Imus may be a Republican, but he is simply not a right wing political commentator like Rush, and he is very far from being a stereotypical conservative. He is certainly no social conservative. Imus talks politics simply to have something to talk about. Mock insults are just part of his show.
He is not a racist, or if he is, he has hidden it extremely well for decades. He unequivocally retracted the botched joke that made him sound like a racist. Real bigots usually have track records of bigotry, and they don't retract their offensive statements.
His retracted comment will have absolutely no adverse effect on any black person. None.
I am fed up with these PC "gotcha!" hatefests in response to what are obviously just verbal mistakes. Does anyone actually believe that by uttering three dumb words Imus revealed himself as another Bull Connor?
These affairs tell us much more about the accusers than the accused.
