Thank you. I was a Forbes supporter, 10 years ago (or so) when he actually turned up on a ballot somewhere. He seems different now.

Unfortunately, he just reverted back to where he was in 1996...before he decided he needed the votes of prolife conservatives.

Ah, I see. 1996 is about the first time I paid any attention to him, aside from his business discussion, which was very sensible.

And, of course, his response to 9/11 is legendary....
"Legendary" is right, because he actually didn't do
shi squat. And certainly nothing extraordinary. Any statement to the contrary about super human mayoral deeds are a freaking "legend".
The Rooty Rooters love comparing Rooty to Nagin - excuse me while I laugh. If you have to sink that low to make Rooty look good, well ... its just pathetic.

Come to think of it, the entire thread has a musky, Victor-Mature-like scent.
LOL.

This easily and already disproved puff piece can only hurt.
Is forbes trying to get a job at CNN?

Aren't you supposed to post that it is an excerpt when you modify the original? It looks like more than half the content was omitted from various paragraphs/sentences.
The parts of the editorial you deleted are probably also worthy of reading:
He is a fervent free trader, much needed, as global protectionist pressures are rising.

I am out here in God’s country. And I am not the only one in the heartland that supports Rudy !
He is going to make a great President. You will regret what you have said about him someday.

It is all up to Fred. If he stays out Rudy will win.

This election is about who is the best leader for WW3. The other stuff is secondary. As Abraham Lincoln said: We'll never be conquered or destroyed by any external force. If America goes down, it will be by national suicide, killed by those who have destroyed us from within.
IOW, you couldn't be more wrong.

Unfortunately, he just reverted back to where he was in 1996...before he decided he needed the votes of prolife conservatives.Forbes called himself pro-life, but he was not pro-life, he was pro-choice. He said he was for more restrictions on abortion in late pregnancy and for restrictions on sex selection abortions, but ultimately he was for any woman in the first or second trimester having full choice. That is not a pro-life position, no matter how you cut it.

Absolutely. And we’ve got several Republican candidates this time around who are playing the same deceptive games.

Absolutely. And weve got several Republican candidates this time around who are playing the same deceptive games.Exactly! Saying you are personally against abortion, while advocating pro-choice positions, does not make you pro-life.
