You and Pissant seem to have a double standard when I post factual history about Hunter's use of the power of the pig to steer millions of dollars in useless defense contracts to his campaign contibuters. And when the issue is Giuliani and Kerick, you and Pissant are the first to yell "guilt by association," yet when the discussion turns to the relationship between Hunter and convicted felon, Randy "Duke" Cunningham, your response is "BFD." Again, rather than going negative on Giuliani, tell us why we should vote for a no-name, career politican, who has absolutely no executive experience whatsoever, and is polling so poorly that his numbers are lumped into the catagory designated as "other."
Fred Thompson’s record on guns...
Voted NO on background checks at gun shows. (May 1999)
Voted NO on more penalties for gun & drug violations. (May 1999)
Voted YES on loosening license & background checks at gun shows. (May 1999)
Voted YES on maintaining current law: guns sold without trigger locks. (Jul 1998)

He would have to extend his own Hate Crimes laws to cover unkind words to “those who pander to gays”. Right now it just covers ther gays and the various “victim” minorities.
I must admit, you are funny.
I’ve seen that before somewhere on FR, and I should have bookmarked it, but it was awhile ago.
I you can find it, that one quote is enough to completely disqualify Rudy from POTUS....A silver bullet if you will.
Duncan Hunter’s record on guns...
Voted YES on prohibiting product misuse lawsuits on gun manufacturers. (Oct 2005)
Voted YES on prohibiting suing gunmakers & sellers for gun misuse. (Apr 2003)
Voted YES on decreasing gun waiting period from 3 days to 1. (Jun 1999)
Rated A+ by the NRA, indicating a pro-gun rights voting record. (Dec 2003)

Hardly. Last I checked, there have been no allegations of wrongdoing against Hunter. Your argument reeks of the CFR "logic" - that the contribution "quid" automatically equals the "quo." But, then again, your hero Rudy still supports CFR, so I can see why you believe that way.
And when the issue is Giuliani and Kerick, you and Pissant are the first to yell "guilt by association,"
Gee, Rudy had Kerik as a business partner. And personally pushed him for Homeland Security Director. But don't let that stop you from proceeding to your typical idiotic attempt at moral equivalence:
yet when the discussion turns to the relationship between Hunter and convicted felon, Randy "Duke" Cunningham, your response is "BFD."
Gee, last I checked, Cunningham was NOT elected by Hunter.
Your efforts to draw such absurd levels of moral equivalence are telling. That is a favorite tactic of liberals.
Again, rather than going negative on Giuliani,
Like I said, y'all point to his tenure as mayor as his primary qualification. And then turn around and call factual posts of his clear liberalism as mayor "bashing". Y'all are rank hypocrites and whine like Dems when called on your double standard, and then engage in the absurdity of trying to draw equivalence between Cunningham and Kerik.
tell us why we should vote for a no-name, career politican, who has absolutely no executive experience whatsoever, and is polling so poorly that his numbers are lumped into the catagory designated as "other."
You keep missing the second part of my tagline. Fred is a fine second choice. And unlike Rudy, both Hunter and Fred ain't rampant liberals.
The problem is there are 200 silver bullets in his chest, including the topic of this thread. The Rudiacs don’t care. But our job is to let the fence sitters know about his leftism.
I told Dirtboy it will take crosses, stakes and a mallet.
Governor Corzine would not be in the hospital if he had been in Rudy’s RINOmobile.
I love that picture.
O’REILLY: You know, you stop it and then back.
When you were the mayor in New York, illegal immigration rose in this city tremendously. I mean, you can’t get a cab now with an American in there.
GIULIANI: But crime declined immensely .
GIULIANI: The Immigration and Naturalization Service would only deport 1,500 to 2,000 a year. So I said to myself I have 398,00 illegal immigrants because the federal government is not going to do anything about this. It can’t. So I had to figure out how do I deal with it so that I regularize them, so that I.
O’REILLY: So how did you do that?
GIULIANI: They don’t commit crimes. They don’t - well, we made sure that their children were allowed to go to school for which we were criticized. But if I didn’t do that, I would end up with children on the streets. If I had just said well, illegal immigrants can’t have their children in school. And we tried to make their lives reasonable.
O’REILLY: How about city services?
GIULIANI: It would have been.
O’REILLY: Did you give them city money?
GIULIANI: Sure, we did. If they were necessary services. We allowed them, for example, to report crimes.
O’REILLY: Without being — asked what their status was.
GIULIANI: Because we wanted the criminals who were committing the crimes.
O’REILLY: Right.
The record is duly noted.
There were here illegaly but did not commit a crime.
Other than being here illegally, procuring false documents, engaging in identity theft, making false statements on employment applications.
But none of those crimes makes Rudy look bad.
Try to keep your tears in check that none of your candidates have even close to nationwide support.
Your approval rating is about zero, especially after your slur at the female freeper last week. But keep pretending you have support; maybe after you get suspended again for a week you’ll understand you’re on thin ice.
Except that Rudy was briefed in 2000 about Kerik's possible mob ties when Kerik was slated to become commish.
Rudy says he doesn't recall the briefing (where have we seen that routine before?)
So either Rudy wasn't paying attention during the briefing, or was too unconcerned about it to recall it later.
Neither speaks well for Rudy when you consider he was being told that his choice for top law enforcement officer had possible ties to organized crime.
Oops, there I go, bashing Rudy again. The nerve of me, questioning the judgement of Rudy the Most Wonderous Mayor of All Time.
Like I said, using your logic, FR should not have been the pre-eminent anti-Clinton site, since Clinton had high approval ratings.
Why are people who call themselves conservatives supporting this liberal? I just do not understand. It just keeps getting worse and worse.
