Several years ago, I heard the Greaseman was syndicated out of LA.
I kind of liked his shtick when I lived outside DC in the late ‘80s. Then Stern came on in Washington and I quit listening to Grease.
It should be interesting to hear what the local AM sports station does tomorrow morning to fill the Imus hole in their programming. I never did figure out what a sports talk station was doing with that fossil on their station anyway.

But she DID say that she thought Imus was going to be sent to GITMO....
(I kid you not).
To Jesse Jackson:
OLBERMANN: Relative to not music but news, entertainment, and the idea that Don Imus was not alone among those who have made remarks like this, let me go through a few names and then ask you a question in terms of momentum, in terms of fairness.
Comments by people like Rush Limbaugh, who calls Senator Barack Obama and actress Halle Berry, quote, halfrican-Americans. Michael Savage, who asked whether the Voting Right Acts intended to counteract racial discrimination at the ballot box was trying to, quote, put a chad in every crack house. Theres Neil Boortz, the other radio talker, who said the black congressman Cynthia McKinney looked, quote, like a ghetto slut. Glenn Beck from CNN and ABC, who referred to the largely African-American survivors of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans as, quote, scumbags, and who, when he interviewed the Black Muslim congressman, Keith Ellison, from Minnesota, said he felt like saying to him, Sir, prove to me that you are not working with our enemies.
Where is the protest, where have you been, why are there not efforts to remove them from the air for these things?
(There were overlays of their pictures!)
I never gave him much thought after endorsed Jaques Al-Qerry..
I'm not so sure the silent majority is even breathing. 30 years of media conditioning has elapsed since that term was coined.
So are all white people in trouble when they sing along with those Rap songs?
A lesbian visiting a college women's basketball team?
She can probably hardly contain herself.
Imus has been running this racist schtick for years. He’s finally gotten called on it. Good riddence.
Hell, it was the Imus interview with Bill Clinton in the 1992 election that saved Clinton's ass.
When I see Al Sharpton and Obama and every other black on TV saying “I’m sure CBS will do the right thing,” who the hell am I suppose to blame?
I agree 100 percent.
Prediction - he’ll be baaaaaack. I don’t like him, he’s an A.H., he stepped into it all on his own, etc., etc., and BOTH SIDES (the ones going after him and Imus himself) are IDIOTS! Ain’t poetic justice lovely? But they’ll start going after Conservatives now, just to make it even, with Rush as the first very big target.
Everyone who values FREE SPEECH on this forum should have a sick feeling in their stomach right now.
I know I do.
Let him have a stroke over Imus. These were college students doing something with their lives, not some of the gangbangers on the NBA. I wonder how many freepers would still be defending Imus if Jackson and Sharpton didn’t get involved and blaming all black people for Imus’ diarrhea mouth. Sheesh.
THis is insane.
CBS exs met with Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson today. THose effing losers are winning.
We can’t let them win!
“This might just WAKE up the silent majority!”
I’m not so sure the silent majority is even breathing. 30 years of media conditioning has elapsed since that term was coined.
Oh, I can ASSURE you I AM AWAKE and I DON’t STOP or SHUTUP!
The hypocrisy boggles my mind.
