Did Imus get the death benefits raised for our soldiers? He said it shure as heck wasn’t congress that got it it done.
And don't forget...he's really a "good person."
I wouldn't classify Imus as a lib. He's definitely a New York RINO, and is even further left than that, but I wouldn't call him a lib. With Bernie and Chuck being conservatives, the show certainly does not have a liberal slant.
They will.
But they have set the benchmark now; anybody — and I mean anybody — who uses derrogatory remarks about ANY race has to go.
This will come back to bite them in the butt.
It'll be a short program.
Just because he took shots at Clinton doesn't make him a good guy - it just made him right that night.
Ooops! Guess I flunked THAT one! Fo’ shizzle, I kazzizle!
Absolutely it will.
It was wrong, positively; but so is this over reaction.
Oh, listen, they are going to ask about rap music..........LOL.
If it does, I submit that the division is what blacks want. I’ve been in this position myself and it’s no fun. Open mouth, insert foot.
But it’s that they’re making so much out of it that is making it worse and worse. Sharpton and Jackson play the race card way better than Imus ever could!
If you want to give an entire industry (Rap Music) or ‘civil rights’ charlatans (sharpton, jackson...) a pass while going after Imus, I’d be VERY careful about accusing folks of racism. (It’s the ‘three fingers pointing back at yourself phenomenon’).
And I’m not defending Imus himself - he established himself as an idiot long before this.
I agree with you 100 percent. I do think some of them want this.
But, as I said, they’ve set the benchmark now: ANY words that can be interpreted by ANY group are now cause for firing.
Agree, over reaction. Big time.
LOL!
What kind of dialog can you have when one of the parties is on guard 24/7 about something that might OFFEND somebody.
I’m not defending Imus, but this is yet another Katrina moment for the press.
If they had just said, “he’s an ass,” and gone on with their lives, this wouldn’t have gotten so out of hand.
Oh, listen, she’s talking about “cleansing.”
I guess she means US, too, huh?
What show do you watch? It’s constant liberal ass kissing.
MSNBC is staying right with this presser. I think they are walking a tight rope...
Heard that piece of low-life Bill Maher on Imus this a.m., both agreeing that GWB, by far, is the worst president we've ever had in the history of this country. They're entitled to their opinion. Maher said that the left and many on the right are _________ (not scandal weary... but something like that)--forgot what he said...maybe somebody else heard it.
What used to be good, strong etiquette has been replaced with the hollow words “I’m sorry.”
This is easy to prove; just think back to the manners your grandparents always had. My own granddad actually had a cultured speech, the kind that was taught back when penmanship was taught. Can you imagine a tagger having any interest in that? I saw one that said “vane.” Pitiful.
At the risk of oversimplifying, I’d say that if Miss Manners were president of every country we’d have no more trouble.
Good question; she sure as hell offends ME.
The Chinese raised holy hell about her remarks about them -- but she sure didn't get a suspension.
One has to say this about the insane left..........they are persistent.
But in the end, their incessant attempts to destroy this President are going to destroy them.
