Republicanism does not equate to Conservatism any longer and really never has. Although there are a majority of Conservatives in the Party, we have never actually ran it.
And no, Bush is not a Conservative. He is a Globalist “New World Order” type.

"...the vile he spews towards Bush, his cabinet, and other Republicans and GOPers could be mistaken for Air America trash."Did you by any chance mean to use the noun "bile" instead of the adjective "vile?"

What a surprise that you posted this!!!
Actually, after listening to the first hour replay I have to say he was way too easy on Assad. I don’t think he was “reprehensible” in his reaction to the callers: although I didn’t catch the first half of hour two.

I knew it. I called it a while ago... Most Hunter supporters are also Savage listeners... This thread confirms it (with few exceptions)...
Hunter is a great person, great record, but nothing more than a protest candidate.

I don’t know what Savage is smoking. Sometimes he is dead right on issues, other times - like last night, he sounds like he needs a rubber room somewhere.

Nope. Bile would have been fine also, but vile is a stronger way of expressing it, imo.

I tried listening to him. He spews so much bile, I can’t stand it.

Bush is not a ConservativeBush started out as a conservative (taxes and fiscal issues, SC judges, etc), but became too engrossed in trying to "change the tone" and appease the other side... and NOT fight back at outrageous, scurrilous charges.

Like any form of entertainment, if it does not appeal to you, find something else. That's exactly what I did as he berated 'Ed' from NYC who was just trying to bring up for discussion how he switches from one side to another. When Savage asked him, "So how long ago did your wife leave you", that was the last straw.

I agree. Michael Savage is a leftist portraying a caricature of a rightwinger. He is all rant and no reason.

I enjoy Savage, but you really can't take him seiously...people should see the irony of him getting all worked up and screaming at people to "think rationally"....

Savage was harsher than usual, got downright personal, trashed him after he left, said he had the onset of dementia, can't think for himself, must be awful to live with, would cause someone to be suicidal
All of this disgaceful nastiness towards a 70 year old man, who simply challenged Weiner's support of Pelosi and his shifting views... Unbelievable.

Last week Savage was making fun of the appearance of the British Marines and Sailors that Iran took hostage. I cant remember the words savage used but he was basically calling them wimps and girly men, and that Britain must be searching the bottom of the barrel for its military these days. What nerve, I thought for Savage to treat these volunteers with such disrespect. Does he think everyone in our American military looks like GI Joe?
Sometimes he can make good points but more often that not he says something real stupid, that causes me to cringe and change the radio station.
Like after the first 30 minutes of the Reagan Funeral he was saying “that’s enough shut that stuff off, that’s enough, I can’t take anymore”. I think the idiots on AirAmerica was showing the late Ronald Reagan more respect than Savage.

His ratings-envy of Rush has rotted the few working brain cells he once possessed. Savage is number 3 overall and not gonna get any higher. I don't think he envies Rush, et. al., as much as he wants to be the leader of the "independent" talkers. Sometimes he deliberately veers from the main topic of discussion that occurs earlier in the day for the "fun" of it. Sometimes it works, sometimes he ticks people off.

Use the little knob on your radio and turn to another station if you don’t care for Michael Weiner (Savage).
I tried to listen to him (on the recommendation of a friend), and found him a total nutcase. I don’t know if he drinks, smokes, etc., or maybe he’s got some kind of bi-polar disorder. I couldn’t take the yelling and screaming.

See posts 29 and 33. If you heard his reaction to this caller, and you don’t think it was over-the-top mean, then I just don’t know...

The only thing I can agree with is Rice has to go...anyone who submits, and gets approved, the transfer of weapons to the palistinians, because they “promise” not to use them against Israel is an utter, complete idiot.....and incompetent...
