Thanks again - You’re doing a lot better than me. I can’t do what you’ve done in providing the links. I’m new to this too.

I printed the linked article off for my wife. She also appreciated a little brain food. It is difficult to find thought expanding concepts presented so well. Thanks again.
Here is a link for a CRS Report For Congress (Congressional Research Service) on the honeybee decline. Very interesting stuff, but rather alarming.

Fascinating. Thanks for the post.
Thanks for all the interesting links y’all provided.
We have eight hives, all stationary. Seven survived the winter and are doing well. Some other local beekeepers (southern MO) lost 3/4 of their hives.

Hmmm. Either the guy’s really on to something, or he dropped way too much acid when he was younger.

It’s late in the day (past early April), but we might mention that the world’s oldest apiarist is Sherlock Holmes. If you contact the Master, care of his Irregulars at 221B Baker Street in London, you will receive a note: “Mr. Holmes regrets that he cannot respond to correspondence at this time. He is retired to the Sussex countryside, where he keeps bees.”
Well, if Sherlock Holmes is not concerned to lose his buzzing charges, why should we mere mortals worry?
So if we add this year to the 22-year cycle we get.......23!!!
I thought the answer was 42 ... just when I think I get it, this happens! Where’s Lisa Randall when ya need her for some warped passages?
