Is a U.S.-Iran War Inevitable? Not at all. So long as we cravenly give into their every demand, there won't be a war.

Absolutely not.But an Iranian-Israeli war is.And knowing the Israelis it will be over in hours and will render parts of Iran unfit as tourist destinations for about 10,000 years.

I was struck by:
>Add this to the rest of the bad news coming out of the Gulf, and things look pretty grim. The "surge", despite what some claim, has barely made a dent in the violence in Iraq.<
With nary a fact or a figure to back it up. Bias, what Bias?

Here's a quick summary: It's all Bush's fault. ;-)

Our Arab allies are jumping ship, apparently as fast as they can. Of course Democratic Congresscritters had nothing to do with that, did they?

War with Iran is inevitable. Since 1979 war has been looming... it's only going to be a lot hotter. We should have defeated and toppled the Islamic Republic in it's infancy. The longer we wait the worse the war will be.

As long as the Iranian people let their Armegghedon obsessed apocolyptic little Mahdi devotee call the shots I'd say war with the West is inevitable. Soon. Ahmadinejihad has been prophesying, that's what it amounts to, about war with the US and Israel this Spring. It's what he wants and unless his people stop him it's what he'll get.

Of course not. The cowards in the U.S. will do anything possible to avoid such a conflict, and I don't think our current administration has the spine to do it after the thrashing they've received over Iraq.
