Only 10 law enforcement agencies now participate in the federal program: Florida and Alabama state police, and eight correctional institutions. About 20 municipalities have applied, according to ICE. This reinforces the reality that anti-immigrant is a rare consenus issue, that Americans on both sides of the aisle are one voice for stopping illegal immigration. Let's hope this initaitive is the start of something big and that patriotic Americans push to deputize municipal and state law enforcement all over the Nation.

This is an inspired program imho. It attempts to end the current stand off between feds and local law enforcement which is one cause of the current problems.

This is an inspired program.....attempts to end the current stand off between feds and local law enforcement which is one cause of the current problems. Puts to rest the ridiculous excuse now being used that local and state L/E can't go after illegals b/c it is a federal immigration issue. This idea will spread like wildfire.

Mayor told critics of the initative to "get out of town, too." He enumerated the gravity of the problems caused by illegal immigration: invading people's homes and passing out, drunk and disorderly, on their lawns, burdening the town with overcrowded homes, unsafe conditions and higher costs, such as a sharp increase in the number of schoolchildren who qualify for free lunches.
Not to mention higher insurance costs, health care costs, taxes, utility bills and so on, that Americans are forced to pay to support these leeches who don't pay their bills. Illegals live off the labors of law-abiding Americans.

If it spreads far enough, the fed thugs won't be able to stop it!

When the federal government will not fulfill its obligations to protect America, the states are right to step in and fill the void.

How treasonous this is when Americans cannot depend on their own gov't to protect them against invading hordes.

Nice work on your part.
Although it is amusing how many losers Rudeo is attaching to his party.
Freudian maybe? Subliminal wishful thinking?

The Nation is crying for a POTUS Candidate to speak out and promise to end the insanity of Illegal Immigration.
The GOP should run a candidate who can fill that bill.
Not Rudy!

BTW, have you seen the latest Rudeo campaign to dupe conservatives (buying airtime on RushBaugh's station)?
Rudeos's ads say: Excerpt---"We need strong leadership to stay on offense in the war against terrorists. We need..... fiscal discipline - to keep the economy growing."
Rudeo's words are unnerving.....should set off troubling alarms.
Let's hope Giussolini and his handlers are not considering doing anything deterimental or harmful to Americans for political purposes.
Maybe creating an "international incident" or a "financial crisis" to showcase Giussolini's obsession with "taking-charge" in a crisis.

Forbes unfortunately represents those who only care about money. Some of whom are pro illegal.

How will Ruolfo factor Forbes' stance into his own "newfound" position as an anti-illegal?
Probably by saying he was for it before he was against it---the Kerry-cake-and-eat-it-too position.

Power-hungry is right. Talk about precipitating a financial crisis for political purposes. The Clintons got their pal Marc Rich ready to go. Rich has financial tentacles all over the globe.
